The food and drinks were absolutely AMAZING!!!! The staff definitely makes sure you have nothing to worry about. They handle all of your transportation needs. Everything was stress free. Definitely recommend!

Everything about sugar bay was amazing from the staff to the food to the amenities absolutely spectacular! Not your typical all inclusive buffet, food was very good and not to mention the exceptional steak house and sushi restaurant on site. You cannot go wrong with staying here! Would recommend to anyone!!

We stayed at Sugar Bay as part of our honeymoon and found it to be a pleasant resort, but ultimately not the romantic experience we were hoping for. The highlight of our stay was our lovely room overlooking the beach. The beach itself is beautiful, set in a sheltered cove with calm, crystal-clear water. The gym was also excellent and well equipped, with plenty of availability as it was rarely busy. That said, the overall atmosphere felt much more family-oriented than honeymoon-focused. The main pool area, including the large swim-up bar, was often busy with families and groups, which created a lively rather than relaxing setting. We also noticed that the pool had a green buildup around the edges, which detracted from its appearance. On arrival, a short orientation tour of the property would have been helpful, as we were left to discover the facilities on our own. While the staff were polite, service did not feel particularly warm or proactive, as interactions generally only occurred when we approached them first. Sugar Bay offers a good all-inclusive option in a beautiful beachfront location, but given the price point and the strong competition from other hotels on the island, we feel the resort would benefit from clarifying its target market. With such a broad mix of guests, it may be difficult to consistently meet the differing expectations of honeymooners, families, and other travellers. Overall, an enjoyable stay in parts, but not the ideal choice for romance.

Staff was amazing friendly clean resort buffet was different everyday plenty of options. Bar was great love the Bob Marley drink pretty and tasty!

Best place for kids with parents that want to have a good time without missing out on the party vibe . Example, kids pool is 10 second walk to a bar / great food . If you are a parent you would definitely understand the convenience behind this . Amazing staff , beautiful decor, delicious food , and few footsteps to everything . And parents I mean everything..

Resort is perfect in everyway. My wife and I loved the property, staff, food, beach, restaurants. We went in May which was perfect weather, less crowded, and a better value for the money. Specialty restaurants were very good. The buffet restaurant had good quality and variety as well for your regular meals. Staff is very attentive. The majority of people there were 40 plus versus 40 younger, but for my wife and I that was perfect (we are 70). This was our first time in Barbados and we loved everything about it. We are already counting days to go back in May 2027. Highly recommend this resort property. Not too big, not too small, just perfect.

I loved everything about this hotel! The beach is beautiful! The drinks were really good and all the food we had. Our room had the best views of the oceans! Also the staff were fantastic! Every single person was super friendly ! Would definitely come back again !

Having been on multiple Cuban, Mexican, Dominican and Jamaican trips, this was my first time in Barbados! Sugar Bay Resort will now be the only resort I will come back to! The food was AMAZING, the staff are all very friendly and attentive and the beach is beautiful and turquoise with nice permanent floaties you can just float in all day! The weather was great, the entertainment, the beach bar, the night club, the a la carte were WOW! This was a fantastic experience!

The Hotel was lovely, well maintained and clean. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and ensured you enjoyed your stay. You couldn't fault the food or drink. The best holiday we've had by far and will definitely be going back.

The meal options were very good. I am a picky eater and I appreciated the variety. The food was also fresh and tasted pretty good. The staff was amazing and I appreciated that the most. There were some hiccups with our check-in and room accommodations, however I appreciated that the staff rectified it for us. We had no other issues throughout the duration of our stay. The customer service was awesome and that is a quality that hotels and resorts are hit or miss with now days. The resort location is also centralized from all of the activities that we planned. I will even take it a step further and share that I went to one the infamous fancy restaurants there that has a great scenic view and the bulk was over $120 per person but I left the restaurant wishing that I had the resorts dinner instead. So overrated. I would definitely come back to Sugar Bay Resort!

Staff are really friendly and as vegans they made specialty dinners each night to accomodate. The gym is very dated with multiple machines not working and the property is a little run down but in such a great place with nature all around. Beach was nice for swimming and snorkelling! Great experience and would definitely return.

Staff and service are 5/5. Extremely friendly, responsive and helpful. Food is 4/5. Better than most all inclusives. Umi and Sizzle were both very good. Reef buffet was always good with lots of variety and daily themes. Colin's Bar was a good place for a mid day snack and/or drink. Bars could have had a better selection of international brands. Resort is 3/5. Probably the area that could be most improved. Rooms are somewhat dated. Air conditioning could have been better with the humidity. Left bedding/clothing feeling a little damp. Shower water pressure could have been better but consistent with usual hotel pressure. We had a great time overall. The feel here is more intimate than larger resorts and amenities not as varied as same. Overlooking some of the dated infrastructure, this is a 4/5 resort if you want it to be.

Food, bar and rooms were great! Wish they had more entertainment or music during the day.

Sugarbay Barbados was an excellent all inclusive resort. As someone who travels frequently and has been to multiple all inclusive resorts, this one stands out. The service was excellent, the rooms were exceptional and the food was phenomenal. Most all inclusive resorts don’t have the best food, this resort blew us away with the food. The location was great, close to all the main attractions. We had a wonderful stay and cannot wait to recommend this resort and location to our friends and family.

When we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms and a nice cold beer Natalie at the reception was absolutely amazing. She explained everything to us regarding the hotel and then a wonderful gentleman I believe his name was Dave showed that to our room and just explained a few details. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. We had a balcony overlooking the ocean the view was stunning. The beach it’s absolutely beautiful. There are plenty of chairs and umbrellas on the beach .The Reef bar was right on the beach which serves delicious frozen drinks and had amazing bartenders Re-Shawn , Damion and Xavier to name a few . The fruit kabobs serves on the beach was a nice treat. The pool was nice with a swim up bar but we spent most of our time at the beach .The buffet breakfast,lunch and dinner were served in the Reef restaurant. There was a wide selection of food I personally I think there was something for everyone. There are three restaurants and during your stay you can have one dinner at the one of your choice . We chose Sizzle steakhouse where I ate one of the best steaks I ever had. There was also great nightly entertainment . The entire staff was fantastic ! There was always someone to help you with anything needed. We felt really safe at this resort with all the security walking around .If you are looking for a fun yet ver

The food available was different everyday and at every sitting. It was always cooled well and was very tasty. The 2 restaurants on site are well worth the visit. The bar staff are fabulous and there is a wide range of drinks on the cocktail menu and the staff will also do drinks that aren't listed. The rooms are really clean and well serviced by the really friendly cleaning staff.

We absolutely loved our week stay at Sugar Bay All Inclusive!! We couldn’t have asked for a better place for 2 young kids and 2 adults, with many family friendly options available. They have an amazing kid play area both outside and inside, babysitting which we used a few times on our stay and the staff were wonderful with our kids, the food was great offering a lot of options for the kids and adults, 2 specialty restaurants, a cafe that was adorable and had great coffees/sweets, pool area was nice with a swim up bar and kiddie pool area, gym, game room, spa (had a massage which was wonderful!), and our ocean family suite was spacious with amazing views. The staff all were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and made us feel so welcome. Thank you so much!!
