Stayed at Brisa Oceano Resort and had a great experience. The staff were friendly, easy to talk to, and always willing to help with anything I needed, from recommendations to getting around town. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. Housekeeping did a solid job the whole time I was there, which definitely matters after long days out in the sun or on an excursion. Location is hard to beat. Close to the beach, food, and bars, but still quiet when you want to relax. You can walk pretty much everywhere without hassle. Overall, it was a smooth comfortable stay with great service and zero issues. If you’re heading to Placencia and want a no-stress place with a good location, I’d recommend Brisa Oceano Resort.

This is our second consecutive summer staying at this property, and we absolutely love it. It's the ideal hotel for anyone wanting to feel truly connected to Placencia village life. We enjoy our morning routine of jogging, then picking up fresh fruits and vegetables from the local markets—all just a five-minute walk away. The numerous nearby restaurants are also a huge plus. The staff consistently provides exceptional service, with Kendra at the front desk being particularly outstanding. When I accidentally left my passport in our room, she immediately took charge of the situation. She arranged for a driver who was already heading to Belize to turn around, retrieve my passport, and deliver it to me in Belize City. We're already planning to return next summer.

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!! Brisa is a very nice property, located of the Placencia Sidewalk in a perfect location. It was near great restaurants and shopping.

Ocean front property with easy access to a private beach. Convenient and near to restaurant's. Clean and excellent courteous staff

We had a great stay at Brisa Oceano! The rooms are well set up for a larger group and the location is very convenient. Even at the back of the complex, we had lovely views of the beach from the porch. Everything was clean and well maintained.

When we arrived to Brisa we were escorted to our room by staff and given a quick tour of the room. We quickly noticed that we did not have a pull out couch (we booked the 2 bedroom with 3 beds beach access) and when one of my guests went to inform staff and initially received an attitude that we “did not rent the cot as we were supposed to”. I then had to go and speak with staff myself which I believe I spoke with a manager who was then quick to remedy the situation as we did indeed book 3 beds, not a cot. They went and swapped out the couch with another room that did have the pull out bed which was appreciated. We also inquired about our VIP welcome cocktails, which staff went to go get more supplies to make those for us. Beach was ten steps away from our room and several steps away from “the boardwalk” which leads through the town with shops and other hotels and restaurants. Room stayed cold, size of rooms were great, technically 2 balconies with our room. This easy access also allows almost anyone to walk through or on the property, so just something to be aware of. We were aware the Sargassum was an issue, but we were upset about the lack of trying to clean up at least the garbage stuck within the sargassum on the beach, it was really dirty, we’ve posted pictures. We were unable to swim far enough out to have clear water. Towards the right of the property in the corner of the beach seemed to be better. Property next door has a small pool and bar they allowed us to use

Great location on the beach and Placencia sidewalk. Easy access to bars, restaurants, shopping, and pier. Friendly staff and great room with a very comfortable bed! I would definitely stay here again!

Brisa Oceano was a great place to stay. It was a great location. Very clean and friendly service. Would stay here again. Front desk was amazing! I wish I would remember their names.

Had a wonderful visit

Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. The hotel is in a great location, right on the beach and close to restaurants and shops. My room was comfortable and very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. My only complaint is that there was no noise barrier. I could hear everything from the other rooms.

Excellent location with walking distance to everything, big nice beach out front, big clean beautiful room

Staff and accommodations were superb. unfortunately for us there was an adjoining room w/just a wooden door between us. A late check in of a guest #3 and #4 at 12:13 AM kept both my daughter and I up till 2 AM. We had to arise at 6 AM to meet our ground transportation, and I just have never banged on someone's door asking 'Can we just keep it down a little?' I wished I had..

Clean rooms, helpful staff, walking distance to many restaurants and very close to the beach. It’s right on the sidewalk walkway. Great AC.
