The location is excellent: on the beach and in the heart of Placentia. We had a condo: large rooms, very clean and light, large balcony., but no view of the water or the beach, which I had thought I had arranged. Furnishings were substandard - No comfortable chairs, lighting was inadequate for reading, closet space was inadequate, there was inadequate drawer space. Lighting in the kitchen area was lacking. Staff was very friendly but not very effective at responding to requests. There is no pool and no comfortable place to mingle with other guests, although there is a pleasant Tiki bar at the resort next door. The beach slopes steeply down to the waters edge and during our week there I did not see anyone in the water. Plenty of white sand, several thatched palapas and beach chaises, but overall not an inviting beach environment. It did not live up to the on line pictures or descriptions. An adequate place to stay but not quite a resort. I would not return.

Clean room. Comfortable bed. Great view. Close to everything. No need for a car or golf cart.

The condo was beautiful, clean, convenient to everything in town, and the staff was wonderful. We also loved the meals at the resort. On warmer days, enjoy direct beach access and sea kayaks, and bikes were also available. The concierge also set up and personally guided one of the best snorkeling days ,with local area knowledge. Our stay ended with a very comfortable, included ride to the municipal airport. 10/10 would stay here again.

We had a 2-bedroom condo (5A and B), right on the beach. It was very comfortable, and I especially appreciated the fluffy blanket and fantastic AC. We felt very secure, and the staff was extremely competent and helpful. Both bathrooms had a strange issue, in that the toilets would make noise at random times - possibly when the top floor flushed? - but while they flushed/drained slowly, they never backed up. It was a little eerie though.

Nice little apartment with kitchen and lovely bathroom. Unfortunately we had bad weather when visited but the location is great everything is walking distance away. i didnt like that their wife was terrible. other than that is a great place to stay

Staff was super helpful for basic amenities, recommendations, and always ensuring we are enjoying our time.

this place had a total baiting switch. They charged us for the premium room that we chose and then gave us a lesser room and refused to compensate us for the difference. Which was $100. They had zero Wi-Fi. And when we came home, we have found additional charges on our credit card from this hotel that we did not authorize. It’s a scam and we really want our money back.

Well located and kozy

Room was nice and modern. Kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the location. Wifi was spotty though, and we had no water twice. The big problem was the glass door in the bedroom that leads to the outside. It let in so much light in the night with 2 bright lights outside the door and we couldn't sleep.

Stayed at Brisa Oceano Resort and had a great experience. The staff were friendly, easy to talk to, and always willing to help with anything I needed, from recommendations to getting around town. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. Housekeeping did a solid job the whole time I was there, which definitely matters after long days out in the sun or on an excursion. Location is hard to beat. Close to the beach, food, and bars, but still quiet when you want to relax. You can walk pretty much everywhere without hassle. Overall, it was a smooth comfortable stay with great service and zero issues. If you’re heading to Placencia and want a no-stress place with a good location, I’d recommend Brisa Oceano Resort.
