Brisa Oceano Resort

Clean and nicely appointed room, cold a/c, beautiful and peaceful beachfront, friendly and helpful staff, very conveniently located in the heart of town.

Location was great, the staff was super friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the air conditioning worked great.

Wonderful stay at the Brisa! The rooms are thoughtfully designed with quality finishings (hardwood and natural stone throughout) and the staff were incredibly helpful with suggestions of what to do and arranging transport. The resort is perfectly located in the heart of Placencia but doesn't feel crowded. The beachfront itself is well-maintained and there are free kayaks and bikes to use as well. Highly recommended!

The room was ok. I had to remind them to clean the room on the days it was supposed to be cleaned. For the cost, there were better options with more amenities at the same or lesser cost. The a/c leaked on our head one night, and when I went to the front desk, nothing was done. The rain one night came into the room through the glass door. Again reported it and nothing was done.

The air conditioning worked very well. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Property is on the main sidewalk with shops and restaurants all within walking distance.

Air conditioning was very effective, however the unit in our room above our bed made loud clicking noises, revving noises, and chugging every time it clicked in. While running it was quiet, when shutting down after approximately 20 minutes, a different set of noises would occur. It would make noise in the cycle. I did not

The staff went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay. Close to great restaurants, including Sterling, which was on site, shops and secure parking. We will be back!

We had a one bedroom. It had a partial view of the sea. It had a large balcony. The room is very spacious with a large shower.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Check-in with Mae (?) was fast. She was a delight. Carlos at the bar made us The most amazing welcome drink with his homemade ginger and concoctions. Sterling restaurant had Amazing food like tenderloin nibbles and beef carpaccio. The 1 Bedroom condo was large and comfortable. They had free bikes, beach umbrellas and bikes. Only thing was no pool on site, but there is one right next door by Toucan Jacks. Melissa the bartender there was spot on and amazing. Would love to stay here again.

The room service was only when requested. Same with beach towels. They will bring the each towels to our room when we asked. We asked for the towels the night we arrived and they did not come to the next day after noon. Other than that the location was very good. The stuff was very nice. The beach was nice and not busy.

Great stay. We loved it. Property exactly as described. Would not hesitate to recommend!

Room was clean but generally low quality across the board. No soap dish or shelf so shampoos and other items must be placed on the shower floor, show drain was bent with sharp edge that would hurt/cut a foot if unaware. holes in the wall were present, curtain dirty and stained. Very thin walls and sound transfers between units so you can hear your neighbors as if they're in your room Overall an okay, lower budget travel destination.

Great location and ambiance. Access to beach was great. 3 bedroom ocean view unit rooms were large and nicely decorated, but show a bit of wear and tear. Each room was keyed separately, and one lock was hard to use (rusted up maybe?). But was just a minor inconvenience. Absolutely would stay again!

The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the rooms were clean. I didn’t use any of the amenities.

The location is excellent: on the beach and in the heart of Placentia. We had a condo: large rooms, very clean and light, large balcony., but no view of the water or the beach, which I had thought I had arranged. Furnishings were substandard - No comfortable chairs, lighting was inadequate for reading, closet space was inadequate, there was inadequate drawer space. Lighting in the kitchen area was lacking. Staff was very friendly but not very effective at responding to requests. There is no pool and no comfortable place to mingle with other guests, although there is a pleasant Tiki bar at the resort next door. The beach slopes steeply down to the waters edge and during our week there I did not see anyone in the water. Plenty of white sand, several thatched palapas and beach chaises, but overall not an inviting beach environment. It did not live up to the on line pictures or descriptions. An adequate place to stay but not quite a resort. I would not return.
