Windsor Copa Hotel

The room was very nice. I only spent 10 hours on the hotel but I found this hotel a real find.

We are a senior couple. We have stayed at the Windsor Copa Hotel over 20 times. Besides its excellent location, which is well-known, the hotel also boasts very friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are clean, and the meals are delicious. The hotel is 150 meters from Copacabana Beach, yet it's half the price of hotels on the first line. We'll be going again in March 2026. We've already booked our stay.

The front desk shift when I came was nice but the front desk crew shift today was rude and not nice. There is no ice to guest when they need and they tried to charge me for ice

Great hotel, in a very convenient location at an excellent price. Super walkable area. Loved the water pressure in the shower and also the breakfatst. Highly recomended.

The hotel is a short walk to Copacabana beach and lots of restaurants. However, it’s a bit outdated. There was hair on the bed from previous hotel guest. The gym was super small and not enough equipment. The front desk lady was stand-offish and very unfriendly - no smile whatsoever. Insulation is poor and the room was freezing. I had to use more blankets and the thick blanket and had to turn off the A/C because using the thermostat didn’t make the room warmer.

A very pleasant hotel. The staff is very polite and helpful. We had a wonderful stay.

Great location! Staff are pretty amazing! Got off a late night tour one time and it was raining, hotel staff was ready with umbrella as soon as the vehicle stopped at the hotel😃

No VIP treatment offered. Tiny room, small bed but clean.

I was there for 17 days. They had a power shutdown which they replace with a very large generator to provide power. But power would shot off and restart multiple times for short periods of time making banging noises which were very disturbing when happening overnights. This went on for 13 out of my 17 days there. With 2 shutdowns for approximately 3 hour to try to restore regular power. My only request that concerned me was trying to get a late checkout, and asked a few times and was told to ask closer to my departure. The front desk manager an older gentleman spoke to me about this while answering me as if I was a stupid child which was quite disrespectful. The morning of my departure I asked and was refused a late checkout but was told I could stay in their lobby while waiting. The clerk helped me with the language barrier to order a cab to the airport and left. With all the inconveniences of my stay due to issues with the hotel and the rude senior front desk management. Was not a very satisfying stay for the money I spent. This definitely makes my decision easy for where not to stay on returning!

The facility was a mess. The power wasn't working so they had a flatbed truck with three generators on sitting in front of the main entrance, the lone workout machine in the "gym" for lifting was broken. The power went out for several hours as they tried to fix things, etc. I was screeched awak at 5am by water goign through a pipe in the wall next to my bed. Just a nightmare. The one bright point was the general manager who felt bad about everything and tried to make accomodation as best she could - giving me access to the gym in their other hotel and moving my room.

It was ok. Wish they had a shower for the beach days prior to going into your room. Makes things messy in the room.

Very convient to Copacabana, very affordable for the location, not much of view in our rooms but staff was excellent.
