Badi'ah Hotel

You can easily reach the mosque and city center from a footbridge near to the property, Google maps shows walking all the way around via streets. The room was spacious and the bedding and bathroom clean, but the overall room was not The baseboards and corners were all visibly dusty. The pool really needed a good cleaning and all the decking was not very clean either. The breakfast had several choices, but all the upholstered chairs were really stained. The staff was really efficient and welcoming. I did arrange the airport shuttle to the airport for $15 BD, it went very smoothly and priced in line with Grab. The attached cafe had good food, and there are several other restaurants nearby. Property really needs a deep clean.

There is no free airport shuttle service despite still being advertised, it was discontinued last year and now costs a minimum of $15. Additionally during my stay the pool was out of order and there was no hot water in the room. The staff were friendly but overall the hotel is pretty dirty with mould in the bathroom, it needs a good clean and to be taken better care of.

The hotel has a convenient free airport shuttle and is in walking distance of the main sights and waterfront in the city so it’s a real win for a short stay… just request a room at the back of the hotel as the front is on a busy road so can be quite noisy.

Housekeeping and breakfast staff were great, friendly and forthcoming. Reception staff were not friendly and not always that helpful. Free airport shuttle is great. Breakfast is 3/10, hot food was cold and mainly fried, no light healthy options, even fruit was scarce although very available in Brunei. Beds are comfy, but the rooms are old and the floor was very worn and scuffed, iron board was ripped and stained. Bathroom tiles are old and mouldy in corners. Limited TV channels, but could log into Netflix and YouTube available. Free Wifi in rooms and public areas with good reception. Totally recommend Gadong Night Market for dinner (approx 2.5km) cash only. Freshly made affordable street food widely used by locals with plenty of areas to sit. Kept very clean.

Located nice and close to the centre an easy and safe walk, night or day. The pool was good to cool off in and the room was big, clean and comfortable.

I spent 3 nights here. Overall, it's a nice hotel. The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient! The breakfast varied each day and was consistently excellent!! After a lot of walking, it was great to relax by the pool!! One thing to keep in mind is that it's a bit of a walk to and from downtown. However, the 42 or 45 buses stop right at the hotel, making it quite convenient!

I really enjoyed the ease of access and the security services for the rooms. The restaurant downstairs was easy and convenient if a quick meal was required without any travel. Staff are quick to address issues and pleasant to work with.

the stay was amazing. hotel is clean and they have helpful and friendly staff. food tastes great as well. once im back in Darussalam, will definitely stay here again!

We were allowed to have a late check out and stored luggage after check out. Great staff and very helpful.

Like the hotel. Good internet. TV had English news. Breakfast was good. The pool was nice. There is a super market right behind.

Walking distance or short drive to tourist places to go

Everything is great with this hotel. The only thing they should change is the go-to taxi driver they use. I ended up in a physical altercation with him in the lobby.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Badi’ah. The facilities are excellent and the staff are amazing. If anything could be improved upon it would be the breakfast…. just a few more western options would be really good. Thank you to all the staff for making my stay so enjoyable.
