They were doing renovations so in the morning it was kind of loud. Rooms were very nice and clean.

It was construction till 5 o'clock and the lobby was closed. It was not mentioned before booking and the day before departure they send me an email and informed me. During days and nights I could hear the voice of underground train constantly and it wake me up during nights. Overall I don't recommend there to anyone.

The staff was the best part of the stay. Very helpful & polite. The location was very convenient to the O train and walkable to Sparks St, Parliament buildings etc. The hotel itself is tired hence the renovations which you are only made aware of after you book and pay. Our room was still the old one but all their photos online are of renovated rooms which is a bit misleading. Once they are done it will be a great place to stay. The games room was just sad with old equipment in it. The pool is unmanned and therefore rules are not followed by guests. The construction started at 7am and it was loud. The balcony doors didn't open in our room despite being after their winter/spring closure so we had no fresh air available, and you could hear outside noise from Queen St. I would avoid staying until the renovations are done unless you get a really good rate.

The property was under construction and the work started quite early in the morning, around 8 am which was disruptive to sleeping in while on vacation. The location was good and the pool was a great hit with the kids.

Location was fantastic. We did not use pool/gym. Restaurant was closed as hotel was under renovation, although they had room service available. Breakfast was buffet only and was ok. Had trouble getting there because we were told it was on the 29th floor, only you can’t take the elevator to the 29th floor. Found another couple trying to get there as well. After climbing stairs from 26 to discover locked doors on 27/28/29 we went to the main lobby where we were told that you have to take the elevator to the 28th floor and then take a different set of stairs up. Would have been helpful to give that info on check-in. The room was nice and large but a bit weird with lots of empty space and then a tiny bathroom. No full length mirrors anywhere. I did mention this to staff who told me that it had been an oversight but that they were on their way.

For almost 400 it was more like a 3 start hotel. Should be free parking not 35. New renovated room was poorly done. Smallest Bathroom in the world.

Before booking this hotel, you should call and ask to see if the renovations are completed. Staff is very welcoming, very respectful and very professional. However, they didn't have much information on the renovations themselves to give the people who are staying at the hotel. This is going to be a beautiful hotel right in the downtown area. Once renovations are done it's going to be spectacular. I feel like this trip due to the restaurant not being open and a lot of the services being down,it should reflect possibly in the cost but it didn't. So just keep that in mind when booking.
