Great location. Very clean. Breakfast poor.

Horrible room, right under the roof in the attick - smelled bad, really bad, like a sewer when its overflowing. Tried to change the room - not available. Tried to report this during check out and recived no help whatsoever from errogant staff member in charge. Will Not recommend and will never come here again. This hotel should be reported to Health Department for intoxicating smell!!!

The single bed room is very spacious compared to other hotels. The concierge is helpful. I had stayed in this hotel twice and both times I had a great time.

It is unrealistic to expect a budget hotel to be perfect for everyone but I believe any fair-minded person would consider Alexandra Hotel to be as near to perfect as they are likely to find at the price. Rooms refurbished and maintained to a good standard. Shower you can turn round in. Comfortable bed. 38" Samsung smart tv. Light controls at bedside. Good cleaners.Towels changed frequently.Help youself to as much as you want at continental breakfast. Lift to all upper floors.Friendly staff. Had a good chat with Ben at reception - very knowlegeable about hotel and hotel group. What else could you want? You could pay much more for much less at other budget hotels in the area.

It was my 2nd stay at Alexandra in a few months. A very descent hotel, clean and really warm. Will stay again.

Breakfast limited and disorganised. Had to go to my room in another building. Was not told that my room is in the 4 floor and was not offered help with my bags as there was no lift. The rom is noisy as the window doesnt close fully. Bathroom was spotless which is great!

Staff was not willing to help and the room that was shown on the website wasn’t available so they gave me smaller room. I’m not gonna come back to this property and for sure ‘NO Expedia’ next time.

I was assigned to the annex across the street at No. 10. As I was only staying for one night with light luggage, I requested a higher-floor room. The annex seems newly renovated, and the room was simple and clean. However, the bathroom had no hooks for hanging clothes, which felt like an installation oversight, and the hot and cold shower controls were reversed. Despite these minor issues, the breakfast was impressively generous compared with other small hotels, and the service was genuinely excellent. Overall, a pleasant stay with standout hospitality.

Clean room, location

Greeted very well by reception on arrival, room was spacious and clean and bed was comfortable. Conveniently situated for Padddington Station as it was only a short walk away. Didn’t have time to have breakfast, so cannot comment on that. Wi-Fi was a little iffy at times though. All in all great value for money though.

Room spotless, staff lovely and was only round the corner from shops, cages, pubs etc.

I did not like the fact I was in another building across the road away from the main reception being a lone woman. The shower was freezing. It was quite noisy with the traffic outside being on a main road.

After reading the negative reviews were were scared. But we were wonderfully surprised. They replied to our email asking for a room with life access. We arrived after 9 PM. Figo was at the reception. What a friendly, charming, professional receptionist! Our room was 233. A spotless room with a spotless, spacious bathroom. The room was small but we knew that plus we travel with very small luggage. The only reason I am giving 4 star instead of 5 is the absence of wifi after 10PM every single day. We stayed 3 nights. The problem is the owner/management. Because of their excellent location and relatively low price they know they can get away with almost anything. The receptionist Omar should be rained to be like Figo and the management should listen to the customers. Do NOT toast the bread beforehand, make internet accessible even when a lot of people sign on. Not very difficult things to do but they need to listen to the customers.
