Central Park Hotel

We paid for a renovated triple; however, they put us in an old “triple” which had two twin beds and a cot so lumpy you could feel every spring! The unit was VERY small. They said they turned off AC to the old units a year ago yet it is still listed as an amenity. It was so hot and humid in there we at least asked for a fan to which we received push back. They gave one bath towel for a triple room. After calling and complaining and emailing multiple times about our issues we finally spoke to Gabriella at the front desk who confirmed we were placed in a lower quality room than what we reserved and paid for. I asked for a partial refund since we way over paid for the accommodations they provided and was told I have to send an email to management. To which I did and they admitted again they made a mistake and they would escalate the situation and I would hear back about my refund within 5 business days. It has now been close to 10 business days and no one has gotten back to me when I keep emailing asking for an update. From my perspective, they don’t seem to care that they are overcharging and under delivering. I would absolutely not recommend staying here. Communication has been extremely poor. Customer service, aside from Gabriella, was atrocious and quite frankly it appears as if they intentionally stole money from us by placing us in a different room than booked and assigned to us in their system based on quality of room paid for. Especially since they are now ignoring me.

Our hotel room was clean. The renovated rooms are really nice. It was a bit small but not a bad stay for only a couple of nights. Loved the quick access to the tube and the circle line

All was fine with our stay at Central Park Hotel. Our room was pleasant, extremely clean, and quite roomly. We were able to check in early on our day of arrival, which was super! Check-in was very easy and all staff were extremely helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast was fabulous!

Building works small room small double bed wc compartment too small ,lifts confusing

Our room was newly renovated. Very convenient to 2 different tube stations and Hyde Park. We could have used some more storage space for our clothes. Other than that, met all our needs.

The hotel is located in a nice area and two subway lines within few minutes walk.The hotel was under remodeling. We were placed in a room without windows in level -2. When quiet at night, I could hear nearby subway humming noise every few minutes but bearable.

Walls are too thin that you can hear your neighbors at all times.

Staff was very nice, helpful and friendly

It was great place to stay perfect location low price clean service one block away from underground and bus station

I had the “do not disturb” sign on my room door while I went out. When I returned, house keeping enter my room cleaned and made the bed. They threw my personal pillow and blanket that I bought with me on the floor. I think that is so inappropriate to threw someone’s personal belongings on the floor.

Wonderful staff and the room are comfortable and clean.

I enjoyed my stay at the hotel. The staff were polite and worked with me when my flight was delayed a day and I couldn't check in when originally scheduled. The hotel was clean and the room nice. It was within walking distance to Hyde Park and close to the underground lines. I highly recommend the hotel.

Very noisy, bathroom too small, thin walls (could hear people talking), construction outside of room. Good bar service and easy walk to bus stop.

got a great price for our stay. front desk can be more friendly. noise was expected due to construction. great area. the lady in the bar is very nice and friendly.

Overall this was a great stay, Central Park is under going some building work, bit this has not caused any issues. Impressed by the fact that it had a very friendly security guard Ali, who was checking corridors during the night. Bar and restaurant areas were lovely and staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast had everything to fill you up for the day. Room was a very good size, with adequate facilities such as TV, drinks, hairdryer, soap and shower caps due to over head shower. I would stay again, it's handy for Hyde Park which is a days worth of adventuring, easy to walk to Kensington, it has a tube station in the next street and some shops for grabbing a bite to eat, as well as loads of restaurants. Only issues was that the beds were single, pushed together, with different mattresses so this caused some discomfort sleeping.
