Central Park Hotel

The hotel and rooms were very clean, and I had a very pleasant stay. The rates were reasonable, and I felt it offered excellent value for money. It was also very conveniently located, with two underground stations nearby, making it easy to get around. The complimentary water in the fridge was a nice touch, and I was also pleasantly surprised to be offered an apple in the lobby. Overall, it is a hotel I would happily stay at again.

I chose a refurbed room one grade higher than on my previous visit. Once again, it was wonderfully quiet, warm and clean, while also being noticeably more spacious. The addition of a fridge and coffee maker make mornings especially enjoyable, and the housekeeping team were, as ever, extremely helpful and attentive. The rooms have been beautifully refurbished, which adds to the overall comfort and appeal of the stay and the staff polite, professional, and attentive at all times, which really enhances the experience. The location is fantastic, with easy access to amenities, restaurants, shops, parks, and transport links. Another fabulous stay, and I’m already looking forward to returning again soon.

Herbergið var rúmgott og þægilegt. Við gistum í 4 manna herbergi með dætrum okkar og það var frábært. Morgunverðurinn var of dýr svo við fengum okkur aðeins morgunverð einn dag. Hina dagana fórum við á kaffihús nálægt. Tvær lyftur voru í viðgerð þannig að aðeins ein virkaði, það olli álagi á lyftuna en að öðru leyti var dvölin frábær. Stutt í metro og strætóstöðvar. Góðir veitingastaðir í næstu götum. Alveg við Hyde Park. Frábær staðsetning .

Nice hotel! Stayed 4 nights here in a newly refurbished room. Very clean and modern. They are doing construction on a big part of the hotel, so expect noise if you're around during the day time. In a good neighborhood, and lots of transport options within walking distance. Also good food and grocery marts near by. My only complaint is the shower. The bathroom is small, and only half the shower is covered so regardless of if you use the shower head or the handheld thing the entire floor ends up soaked!!

Excellent stay. Only negative experience was the number of smokers at the hotel entrance/exit

Det lå meget fint og rimeligt centralt

Engelsk frokost, en type kjøttpålegg og en type hvit ost. Ellers helt ok. Vi fikk rom i noe som heter Mezzanin. Lavt under taket, og tydelig i en sidegang i en gammel del av hotellet. Disse rommene er IKKE avbildet på deres side. Seng var ok, gammelt teppegulv, sprukne fliser på bad, og vinduer det ikke gikk ann å åpne.

Rude staff on arrival, carried on their day to day tasks before serving. No lift to room which meant a flights of stairs with heavy suitcases. While they are renovating, in order to access our room we had to walk through the building site which was naturally dusty. Room was terrible, nothing like the photos. Black mold in the shower, aircon/heater didn’t work, view of scaffolding making the room dark and could only use the lights to see and the room looked like it was falling apart. Only pro of this hotel was the location.

La habitación tenía un olor no agradable, nos quitaron el aire acondicionado el 2do día de la estadía.

Muy buena ubicación con estación del Metro cerca y restaurantes… el servicio de desayuno excelente, muy variado… lo malo el olor a caño de los baños de las habitaciones… olían horrible y para la última noche nos deshabilitaron el aire acondicionado de las dos habitaciones que teníamos reservadas.

Clean hotel and newly refurbished room adds abit of that extra sparkle to the stay.

Not sure about the room that was set up on my first reservation they provide me one -1 but the next week on my second reservation it was the one showed on the pictures when I reserved the room, very nice with window.

The hotel is well located, a stone's throw from Hyde Park, not far from nice neighbourhoods such as Mayfair or Notting Hill. There's potential. We've booked the superior double room for 4 nights. When we checked in, it took a while and there was a discussion between the receptionists regarding our room - we couldn't understand what they were talking about, since they didn't discuss in english, but that's when we were alarmed that something might be off. When we arrived at the room and looked around, it was clear what their discussion have been about: They downgraded us from superior room to cosy room, without telling us nor offering any discount or anything. On top of that, the windows were covered with paper because of the ongoing renovation of the hotel. Renovation per se wouldn't have been a problem, as long as we weren't directly affected. The website did say that the renovations should be finished by end of 2025 (We stayed there late January 2026). So, receiving a downgrade by paying the higher price AND being not able to look outside the window due to the renovation-cover is a no go. When we mentioned these issues at the reception, they told us the booking came as is from Expedia (cosy room instead of the superior room). So easily blaming Expedia, but when asked for a print out or any proof or handout, they refused since "not allowed to", and left us without any solution. The window issue was not tackled at all. Can't recommend this hotel's policy/management.

A nice hotel in a good location. Very small rooms but fine for somewhere just to sleep.

Breakfast was excellent.
