DoubleTree by Hilton London - Ealing

After the aircon had been switched off. There was a constant whirring noise from what appeared to be a radiator in the wall close to the bed. We spoke to a gentleman from the hotel who tried to help. Ultimately we were told nothing could be done until the morning and would be resolved. This wasn't fixed and was present for the second night staying here.

Perfectly decent hotel for reasonable price in a great location for where I needed to be.

Standard queen bed room is not usable for a person around 6ft and over. I turned around in the bathroom and smacked my elbow on the wall behind me with my waist very close to the sink. I am not fat! The toilet space is tiny. Of course you can then upgrade to a bigger room for an additional price but then I would have booked a better hotel with the additional cost. Better rooms in new premier inns.

ok, love the cookie on arrival, on Hanger lane so lots of traffic noise at the front of the hotel, I;d go for a room on the Creffield Road side if I had the option

Burst pipe in room 320 required me to move rooms after midnight.

My stay was comfortable, but there is nothing around, so I ate in the hotel. The restaurant was way overpriced and left me hungry. 15GBP for a small bowl of stir fry beef and veggies and no rice with that! I wasn't served water either. It took so long to get my check and change that I got up to leave and find the waitress who had forgotten about me, yet charged me service tip.

Comfort and wide bed. King bed is US size. The wall has footprints on it though.

The room was tired with marks on the wall and worn carpets. The room and the bathroom were very small for 2 occupants. Overall, a disappointing stay.

Was not happy as they were charging me £26 for car park. Then they said they will waive it provided I buy food or drink from their restaurant worth no less than £20!

The hotel is located near a busy road, so there is a lot of noise from passing cars at night. The room feels old and lacks proper cleanliness. However, the breakfast environment is comfortable, though the food options are limited.

Starting with the good points. This hotel has a good amount of parking and as a guest you will only pay £14.50 per 24hrs (at time of writing) - ask at reception, don't use the payment machines. The hotel staff were happy to extend this for free on our last day to give the wife a few more hours of shopping! Warning - people with larger cars might find turning a bit tight though. There are 4 EV charging points available. The hotel is situated less than a 10 minute walk away from Ealing Common tube station so it's easy to leave the car behind for trips into the city. There is plentiful breakfast and you can ask for your eggs to be done any way you like! The less good points. We arrived late (about 10:30 pm) on the first day and wanted to freshen up but couldn't get any hot water in the room (Sink). It wasn't much better the next morning either. Although the room was clean, we found a lot of ladybird insects kept falling on the bed. we don't know where they were coming from as we never saw the window open at any point. The overall appearance of the hotel is that it looks a bit dated now. In summary, we often stay on the other side of London but due to the number of shows at Excel the cost was prohibitive this time around. Now that we've found this hotel, we will use it again.

The hotel is close to railway stations and the rooms are well maintained.I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel but the policy of charging £50 at check in and not refunding for 3 to 5 days is dreadful.

Very nice stay in outer London, but 2 minute walk from Victoria line tube. Plentiful breakfast although scramble eggs were runnyy.

Nice, reasonably priced hotel in Ealing, London. Facilities good, staff lovely. Nice base if you are looking to visit the sites in London.
