Excellent stay. Clean comfortable rooms. Spacious for European hotels. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Even gave us water on a hot day! In the centre of town walkable to all sights, restaurants, etc. On a busy road with restaurants etc but worth the stay.

Great hotel in a convenient and busy area of the city centre. Very comfortable, attentive staff, great amenities and the shower was SO nice. I was visiting during a really busy time in Oxford, so my room was street facing and I could hear some noise from the street outside, but that's to be expected in this area. Don't let it keep you from booking here, you will be so pleased that you did.

Staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was lovely and quiet. When we returned from touring Oxford on foot around 4:30 PM, we were hoping to relax and take a short nap before our evening reservations. Unfortunately, our room had not been cleaned, even though we left a hang tag saying “ clean the room”. It appears they were short on personnel that day, and had fallen way behind; another couple came in around 5 PM to find their room untouched like ours. By that time our room was being cleaned, and we were sitting in the hall on temporary chairs (the hotel has no lounge and only one seat in the tiny lobby). Difficulties do arise, but for £300 a night for a decent but unspectacular hotel room, we expect better.

Basic three star hotel (advertised as four/ five). Stayed for major work conference so was incredibly convenient for the second visit to the hotel. Found hair (not mine!) each day from what I assume was the cleaners in the bathroom, left over rubbish from prior guests (glasses case, scrunchies, eye drop solutions) in nooks/ crevices that weren’t even hard to reach. Seems as if they think their location is the only thing they need to keep guests satisfied.

Hotel is perfectly located. No amenities. But the room and bath are large for Britain. Easy checkin. We had the room with the patio. It adjoins other patios so if you are a nervous traveler don’t pay extra for the patio. Decorations are a bit over the top. Very nice linens.

Good room - sheets, towels, bed, lighting etc fine, nice decor, spacious. Excellent shower. hotel has no restaurant, bar, sitting room, gym or other facilities beyond the room Room was missing many small essentials appropriate for this class and price level hotel eg, no fridge, no coffee maker, no conditioner in shower, no bathroom vanity kit, no wine glasses or nice drinks tumblers, and for a hotel without any restaurant or bar, no snacks or minbar items available at reception. These things are all easily fixed cheaply, and should be. Staff do not greet guests when they walk past reception - noted multiple times.
