조지 스트리트 호텔

편리한 위치에 숙소도 깔끔하고 직원분들도 너무 친절했습니다. 4일 머물렀는데도 불편함이 전혀 없었습니다. 다음번 아이를 만나러 옥스포드에 방문할때도 이곳에 머물예정입니다. 옥스포드에는 에어컨과 난방시설이 없는 호텔도 많은데 에어컨 난방시설도 잘되어있고 엘레베이터도 있습니다.

호텔 출입문 찾기도 힘들었고, 호텔 주변에 주차 안내가 없어서 주차가히 너무 힘들었어요. 주변 공영주차장에 파킹후 무거운 짐을 끌고 한참을 와야 했네요. 호텔네 시설은 아주 오래된 건물이며 시설도 신경을 많이 썼지만 세월의 흔적이 너무 많아요. 고급스럽다 세련됐다랑은 전혀 거리가 먼 곳이에요. 그냥 하룻밤 자는 정도의 수준인데..그러기엔 너무 비싼것같네요.

방을 지하로 줘서 얘기를 했더니 3층으로 바꿔주었어요. 방 크기도 적당하고 청결도도 괜찮어요. 화장실은 크고 시설도 좋았어요. 에머니티는 록시땅 걸로 준비가 되어 있었고요. 무엇보다 위치가 정말 좋아요. 웬만한 곳은 걸어다닐 수 있어요. 버스 터미널 2분, 기차역 10분, Covered Market 4분, Christ Church 9분. 방만 지상으로 주면 다시 묵고 싶어요.

Very convenient and reasonably priced hotel for a visit to Oxford, close to the main tourist attractions and shops, but quiet and nice rooms, with a comfy mattress. The staff were lovely too!

Room was clean

This is a very elegant hotel with spacious, well-maintained rooms. The bed was large and comfortable, the dresser very functional (with lights built in). I would recommend rooms with a window, especially facing the back courtyard. The lighting of the room was ideal, with many different options. The bathroom was small, but the shower was spacious and had a great rain shower head, with instant warm water. The entrance to the hotel is a bit awkward (narrow door and corridor, leading to the elevator), but it leads to a really great hotel. The location is ideal: in walking distance to restaurants, shopping, transportation.

Fridley staff. Great location. Has air conditioning. Didn't need it in March, but in July it would be great.

Great central location- we were able to walk from the train station and get everywhere easily. I booked the small single room and was impressed with the size of the bathroom and shower. Would definitely recommend!

Handy location close to station and shops

Very central in Oxford. Area not great. Hotel apartments are clean and tidy but very small, well appointed. Staff friendly and efficient. Restaurant on street below hotel does great breakfast and 10% discount if staying in hotel. Easy access to hotel, but reception on 1st floor. Ok for 1 or 2 nights.

The staff was friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and the location was outstanding. If we come back to Oxford, this will be our hotel of choice for sure.

The hotel was smack in the middle of town, a few blocks from the bus station, where we arrived from Heathrow. Lots of stores and places to eat very close. The staff was very available for questions, even before our arrival, and immediately helpful. The hotel itself was very "old school" and charming. It had a lot of old world character. Our room had a great balcony to look out over the roofs and spires of Oxford. So picturesque. We had a lovely stay.

Shops and sights were all in easy reach . Good place to get transport to station if needed. Air con was a little cool in March but at height of summer would be ok for comfort. Clean room and hotel.

Breakfast was very satiafying and all the staff were warm, kind ppl. The room is small like other hotels in this neighborhood. Personally I had no problem to spend several days.

Practically no noise isolation from the street where the music was blasting until 1am. Had very poor sleep. A day before arriving I had noticed several messages in the app asking me to confirm my stay “within 24h or my booking will be released” (aka cancelled). I had not received notifications for those and the times had passed. I shouldn’t need to confirm a booking that has already been confirmed. I’m not even sure if these messages were legitimate or scams in which case the hotel should increase its IT security. Receptionist had trouble finding my booking. Afterwards when she did, she had trouble finding that it was paid for. I had to prove it myself and she still was not convinced. Finally, the hotel itself is very simple, definitely not a 5 star hotel. It is no better (or worse) than the likes of Premier inn or travelodge. In fact in those you are guaranteed to have a good nights sleep because they make that a priority, whereas here there is no noise isolation.

The hotel is purported to be of 5-star accommodation but in reality is only 2 star based on our experience and the room provided. So small room and basic, no facilities, poor advice on parking nearby. We booked for 3 nights but were so disappointed we left after 2 nights, despite having pre-paid. I feel like seeking compensation for misrepresentation from Expedia or the hotel. I suggest that Expedia remove this hotel from your portfolio and it will caution me from booking other hotels through Expedia in the future. James

Amenities, parking problem. It costed me nearly £50 extra per night for parking.

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very helpful and welcoming. Nice hotel for a very decent price in central location.
