What Guests Say About Their Stay

The hotel shares a lobby with a Travelodge in the same building and main entrance is non-descript and can be initially missed at night time. I had 22 night stay in a studio suite, the space was comfortable and the kitchenette set up with cooking utensils etc perfect for my needs. Location is fantastic, literally a 2 minute walk to Hackney Central train station, likewise the bus stop, 3 supermarkets in the vicinity, M&S, Tesco & Iceland making it super convenient, like wise coffee/food venues and a laundromat is also in close proximity, perhaps a 10 minute walk from the hotel. The team I interacted with were helpful, friendly and accommodating. Would be nice to have had a bit more hanging space (for a long stay) and perhaps some tea/coffee/sugar/milk set up I also had issues with the heating which was not working which is a known issue - the team provided a fan heater which did a great job keeping the space warm....call me old fashioned :) the bed was a bit too low to the ground for me. I would stay again :)

Solo traveller. Great location if going to a gig in Hackney. Plenty of bars & places to eat in the vacinity. Trains/buses a plenty that will get you round London if you put the research in. Price for a small single room with shared bathroom was very competitive. I had to call the hotel in advance of my trip as had added further nights via a second booking via a different website. The staff member merged them into the one booking meaning I didn't have to vacate my room. They also put me in a room with a window which was hugely appreciated now my stay was for a few nights. Bed was comfortable, room was warm, TV & remotes worked fine with enough channels to keep me occupied for the short time I was in the room/not asleep. The bathroom, shared between 5 rooms, was clean and I had no issues with fellow guests during my stay. The one slight issue with that bathroom, in the 210-214 area, was that there is a blockage in the shower meaning water drains very slowly. This could be an issue if you are in a hurry and need to follow someone who's just used it. For the price, a little gem for any solo traveller & /or people on a budget.

Nice, friendly, helpful staff. They'll make you a free tea or coffee at any hour of the day or bring a kettle to the room so you can make your own. I booked a double room with en suite. It was clean, had a comfy bed, good heating system with controls right beside the bed (nice touch), TV, hot shower and best of all lovely fluffy towels! Very close to the train station at Hackney Central and bus stop. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I'm in London.
