Lovely hotel, close to the cruise terminal, had checked in prior to arriving, straight to the room, offered taxis pick up the following day which was great. Had evening meal, some confusion with the bill, given a free drink for the following day.
Breakfast the following day included, didn’t see any fried eggs, hash browns or black pudding so a little disappointed but did enjoy.

The restaurant is in a large atrium / sunroom with a view of the historic town walls. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I had pork loin with baked apples and spinach. Alcoholic beverages are not reasonably priced.
The concierge was super helpful. He gave us a map and pointed out sites of interest. He also helped us resolve an issue with a lost item from our cruise.

We have stayed overnight several times but were disappointed this time. We asked for an extra sheet, which was confirmed but not provided. There was no safe in the room, your security appeared to disbelieve us and came up to show us where it was, or should have been ! We ordered a taxi at the reception when we arrived, for 11.30am the next day, this was not done. Fortunately your concierge made a call and we were on time. Hope for a better service next time

We've stayed many times due to the proximity of the property to the various cruise terminals in Southampton. Howver, we have referred many non-cruisers, also. Great location locally and in the region of England.
However, please improve the lighting in the entryway of the rooms - the overhead at the door is fine, but you have placed wall mirrors in the darkest spot which renders them useless.
Also, improved lighting at the desk would be appreciated. Anyone who uses the provided hair dryer and MUST use it at the desk can only do this after making space (moving the kettle, tea/coffee caddy, Nespresso maker, tray, etc) and unplugging all of the appliances - will tell you that the light is insufficient.
Otherwise we enjoy the property.

Lovely night, bed comfy, room lovely only complaint is the shower had no pressure so was aweful.. pool lovely breakfast ok shame there wasn’t hash browns was served with roasted new potatoes (weird)
