Park Plaza Leeds

Staff were really friendly and helpful throughout our weekend trip. We had breakfast on one of the mornings and it was delicious. The room was pleasant and the location was perfect to get to and from the station as well as the city centre. Would recommend as a place to stay if visiting Leeds City centre :-)

Good value for money and very central.

Had a 4 night stay at the hotel. Location is excellent although I didn't know the entrance was around the back. The revolving doors are not useful if you have luggage. Reception staff were good and my high floor request was accommodated. That said one of the lifts was out of order and this queues and wait times were excessive. The room faced the city but on floor 17 had an amazing view. The room however was dated. The dressing table showed signs of wear and the decor was old. The bathroom had a shower over the bath and took a bit of working out how to use. Provided shampoo etc was a good quality. The hotel operated a no clean policy in exchange for drinks tokens but 1 drink for 4 days was not an industry leader. That said it is a initiative I support. Check out was quick and a free luggage hold was offered and welcomed. Overall a great location spoiled slightly by old rooms, lift issues and a not exactly industry leader approach. That said for the price I would return.

Fantastic location, good value for money. Staff are a delight. Rooms dated and a bit spartan, need a refurb but have aircon and big bathtubs. Breakfast good value if prebooked. Wait for the lifts can be annoying. If you’re not put off by the 1990s vibe it is a solid choice.

Nice hotel. Lifts need maintaining as one was out of action so the wait was quite long but I’m sure it’s most likely been fixed now Very close to everywhere we needed to go. Very close to the Q car park on Albion Street

Hotel is great " location wise " , just 5 minutes from Leeds railway station, rooms are clean and the staff were very good throughout. Only problem we had was the breakfast ( on offer at £10 each ) was very poor compared to other hotels we have stayed at. The tea was in a thermos flask, the food was tepid at best. Will stay at the hotel again, but eat breakfast out next time,

Another great stay here. We were also given a room upgrade upon check-in, which always helps to make the stay more enjoyable. Will definitely stay here again as it’s only across the road from the train station. It’s ideally located for shops, bars and restaurants.

I paid extra for a king bed, but it was just 2 single beds pushed together. Other than this, the stay was superb

The hotel was in a great location however parking was off site. We had breakfast which had a good variety.

Very good hotel and very good location. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend.

The Park Plaza is extremely well located on the central square across from Leeds station. Why I go back often is the staff. I had a friendly greeting at reception and was warned that one of the lifts is being worked on so I should give myself extra time in the morning. There will always be things going on, good staff are proactive and let you know about it. at breakfast, the main hostess remembered me. It takes so little to smile and say welcome back. They also have one of my favourite hotel breakfasts. The hotel is a bit dated, but that is more than made up for with the great staff and good price for a business hotel.

Great central location just down the road from the car park with 20% discount for guests. The staff were very accommodating and friendly and were happy to make up another bed. Breakfast was good. Downside: some of the furniture was a bit grubby and showed definite signs of wear, for what was advertised this was not what I expected, however the price we paid was fairly reasonable and maybe that is why. I was also disappointed with the tea/coffee provisions as there was only 1 peppermint, 1 everyday and 1 fruit tea and 1 pack of biscuits provided and only a few sachets of milk and sugar (not that I take sugar but…). There was more on offer with the coffee provisions but only 2 cups worth. I had booked the room for 2 people and it is supposed to take 3 so we had to go begging from the front desk. Another issue was the bathroom. The door didn’t go all the way to the floor so you could hear (and smell) everything from the bathroom. The door felt like you were going to break it when you closed it. There was nowhere to hang anything (clothes, towels etc.) and the water temperature in the shower had no cap on it so I burnt my feet trying to adjust the temperature - only a giant would be able to reach the taps from outside the bath and the temperature was too hot even on the cold setting. That being said I would consider staying again depending on the price

Close to the railway station and main shopping area. This was my second visit in 4 months. I did not have breakfast, but there are plenty of other options in the area. Rooms are very spacious.

Modern hotel. Spacious bedrooms. Quality TV in the room, updated. Great view from a high floor. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The lifts need a serious upgrade to ensure speed, reliability and availability.They work but are very slow to access one to use ! Prefer this one to The Queens over the road we used last time. This hotel is cheaper and more modern.

We had a lovely room, that was clean, with tea/coffee making facilities, plenty of clean towels, beds were comfortable! Ideal location when getting off the train, check in was made easy by doing it online, when we arrived our room was ready! Would deffinately stay there again

Room wasnt very hot would of helped if the air con was in when arriving. The beds were two singles push together and at different heights.

The hotel boasts a perfect location and very spacious, beautiful rooms. However, the decor and fixtures are outdated. With a proper renovation, this property would be flawless. I was deeply disappointed by the bedding. While advertised as a King bed, it was actually two Twin beds pushed together without a mattress topper. This is unacceptable for a hotel and resulted in a very uncomfortable stay.
