Rooms very basis, not water in the room , breakfast food was very basis on not cooked very well. Staff were all excellent.

The shower jel in the bathroom was empty

Rooms need a refresh and modernisation. Bed very hard and uncomfortable. Breakfast was ok but food quality could be better. Coffee and juice pretty poor for example. Staff were lovely and helpful so can't fault the service, but for the price I would expect everything else to be far better.

I've stayed here many times before,this time it was very disappointing. The service was terrible. The room was lovely, comfortable and clean. We booked breakfast, it took 15 minutes for the coffee to come round. I asked if I could order some vegetarian sausages, asked twice where they were. Gave up after 25 minutes. The place has sadly gone downhill service wise.

Hotel staff were very friendly. Location excellent. Room was a little tired but due to the small number of rooms on each floor and the layout - rooms very quiet.

Was great do what I needed. All done through app so no interaction with staff at all!

This hotel is very central and the room was as you'd expect for a hotel at this level.A good bath,plenty of hot water and the beds a little firm but acceptable.The staff were helpful. BUT. A BIG problem for us was that the advertised restaurant was only open 4 nights a week-closed at the weekend(!!!)Friday,Sat.,and Sunday. We stayed for 2 nights-yes,Friday and Saturday! The hotel was very busy with plenty of guests so I cannot understand why potential income would be thrown away. We are in our 70's and a restaurant is VERY important as my wife likes to dress up and wear her jewellery.We do NOT want to walk about anywhere at night outside the hotel! We frequently take city breaks and ALWAYS book only hotels with restaurants (bar food is ok but as a meal not an experience). We booked through Hotels.com,a we always do,so we took all our info from their listing.This hotel boasted their Chino Latino restaurant (sounded lovely!)but nowhere in the listing did it say there were restricted opening times.The hotel emailed me 3 times before the visit and never mentioned the restaurant restrictions. If they had we would have booked elsewhere. So if,like us,you want a decent restaurant and you happen to want to stay at the weekend-don't book here.

Rooms tired and unclean. In need of an urgent refurb. Reception dismissive when asking for a bottle of water !! Won’t be staying again.

Checked in and Stella on reception was friendly and welcoming. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The bedroom, which was on the 16th floor was spacious and clean. The walls however are not very good at dampening the sounds throughout the night of people talking in the hallway, music playing from other rooms at 4am and the final wake up call which I do not recall asking for which was the sound of a couple ‘having a good time’ in the room opposite. When informing reception and security of the banging of the bed against the wall and the screams of sexual pleasure had disturbed my nights sleep. The response I received was ‘there were on women staying in the hotel last night’. Very poor customer service, actually zero customer service at all. For the price point I would recommend The Marriott only a few minutes walk from Park Plaza

Loved the check-in process and having the key on the app. Big comfortable bed, good ESPA products with an excellent shower. Only negative is the room is a bit tired but all good for one night stay.

Have stayed here a couple times and will again when visiting family.

I would avoid it if possible. Hotel is quite dated and the lifts take a long time. Room is not soundproof and not very comfortable bedding

Staff were great, especially Zoe. Location was central and was quiet. Rooms were quite dated and we had to switch rooms, but after that, everything was great.

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was large and bright and clean. It had lovely toiletries and robes. We slept comfortable and enjoyed the room. The location is excellent although the hotel does not have a car park. Check in and check out can all be done remotely and the hotel are happy to look after cases. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you!
