I found this hotel by accident when just arrived at Paddington Station after flying +18 hours from Jakarta to Heathrow. Tired condition of having to push a large 32 kg suitcase made me undo the intention to move to the hostel that had been booked in advance near Victoria Station. The location is very strategic, only about 5 minutes walk from Paddington Station. Room B10 which is located at LG is quite spacious, there are 4 beds, a bath tube and a heating machine which I thought was an AC at first. Since sleeping there on the first night finally decided to extend the stay there for the next 5 days with family who flew after a few days later. BTW, did I tell you that this hotel turned out to be a shooting location for one of my favorite films from the ' 90s era? Trainspotting 1. Please check it out!

Muy buena ubicación a pesar de no estar en el centro de la ciudad. A solo pasos de la estación de metro de Paddington la cual te conecta al resto de ciudades en solo minutos.
El staff muy amable, amigable y siempre dispuestos a ayudar.
Las habitaciones son pequeñas pero con lo necesario para una estadía de pocos días.

I thin the Royal Eagle is a very nice hotel. I would say that they need better the bar and the breakfast offering. The bar was less than mediocre. The building is quite beautiful but they stuck us in a room on the lower level with horrible views.

I wasn’t expecting much but there was enough to notice to be a little bit disappointed.
The room was ok a bit cramped but as a solo not so bad, the room had visible wear and tear. Tv bracket was broken so the tv didn’t sit straight, door handle was loose & one of the lightbulbs had gone. Unfortunately for a bigger chap like myself the bathroom was a tight fit.
The complimentary breakfast is small I ended up having a couple plates.
Staff were friendly but didn’t have to much interaction with them but over all it was an ok stay

Hotel was exactly what we needed. Just a place to lay your head. Coffee and breakfast in the AM. Easy walking distance to paddington station. Felt very safe in the area.

The staff was wonderful, extremely friendly and helpful! Our room was clean, comfortable, and more spacious than other London hotels I've visited. The room had a loft inside it with the kids' beds, which was a fun novelty for my children!

Our stay was good. Very conveniently located close to Paddington station which is the main stop from Heathrow airport. Also very close to Hyde park which was lovely for running to first thing in the morning. There were two false fire alarms during our stay which was annoying but not the fault of the hotel. The breakfast was not our favorite, but Sheila’s cafe and a small French cafe also walking distance that were both great.
