The hotel was nice. It's older so there are updates that could be made. Unfortunately for us, we came during the heat wave so 90 degree weather with no air conditioning was hard. But we were there for only two days so we made due. The staff was so nice and helptful!

Clean, quite spacious room for 3 people. Another chair- only one - would have been useful. Had an issue with sockets/ tv tripping a couple of times but dealt with quickly when reported. Lovely breakfasts. Staff very helpful. The room would have benefited from double or secondary glazing as being on a main road it was noisy. The complimentary ear plugs unfortunately were unsuitable as the design was painful in the ears. We did manage to sleep and enjoyed our stay.

A very large hotel, just off Russell Square and only a few minutes walk from Russell Square tube station. The hotel was busy and seemed popular with international visitors. The room was comfortable and had all the amenities you need. The washbasin in the bathroom was a bit small and the tap quite high (good for filling water bottles), but if you're not careful you will splash water everywhere. Staff didn't mention breakfast at check-in. I don't think I booked it, but a reminder about breakfast could have been useful, although there are plenty of shops nearby. Some of the decor in communal areas and corridors is quite dated, but rooms themselves are in better condition.
