Parked across the road, nice hotel perfect for a couples trip. Reception is friendly and check in and check out is easy. One suggestion - additional lamp(s) in the room as very bright with cieling light on, too dark with just the bedside lamps.

It was an okay hotel. We paid for continental breakfast and there was barely any food left and the station was messy. Ended up ordering dishes at an extra charge. Not sure it was worth a £300 stay.

It was a very polished hotel that was very well presented. A fairly easy layout on the room apart from the fact that it was a little bit cobwebbed and the air conditioner was blasting with no easy way of shutting it off. It wasn’t until I left that I realised when the dial was. The shower, thought powerful, leaked and flooded the bathroom so I needed to use all my towels to mop up the mess. I could forgive the above but the pillows made it quite difficult to sleep. There were lots of them and they were huge.

The staff argued with me as to why they hadnt cleaned my room . I explained twice that i went down to breakfast and put DND sign as i knew i wanted to go back to sleep. I left as 12.30 ish changed the sign o say please clean . I returned later that night to a dirty room dirty cups unmade bed . I went to complain and the lady gave me fresh towels and mugs . The following day I asked if i could checkout a little later and she said only-if you pay £25 . I said what do i receive for the upset yesterday and the lady said you turned the sign round its your fault . Really rude as that was untrue your staff had maybe seen it earlier but had not double checked it had been changed to clean room I thought the staff were sweet but young and in experience at breakfast the guy shouted literally no you havent paid for that when i asked if i could have eggs and bacon which made me feel embarrassed in front of other guests . I should also have been informed that the room was at the top and many flights of stairs . I would not recommend this hotel at all . The cushions on my bed were covered in felt tip and old . The bed was very comfy and the pillows.
