Lovely to see a proper village pub so busy on a couple of weekday nights in Mid-January. And quite rightly so - friendly staff, friendly locals and friendly guests.
Breakfasts were great, dinners delicious and very reasonably priced (wife said the Rib-eye steak was the best 'pub steak' shed ever had and my chicken goujons were fantastic.

Bedroom very clean and bed really comfortable. Shower excellent, shower cream & body lotion, fluffy white towels hairdryer all in room. Tea & coffee AND hot chocolate, BISCUITS & enough milk. Just as it should be everywhere.
Breakfast excellent thanks Lea, superb.
All staff very welcoming, polite, friendly & knew what they were doing.

Nice country pub, room for solo occupant just right with comfortable bed, although would have liked a chair rather than stool. Good sized shower. Tv had internet connection. Good meals without being fancy and interesting beers

A very "local"local pub. Very friendly and helpful staff and landlady, and also friendly helpful locals. Good breakfasts. We ate one night in the bar - proper pub grub! Great location for us going to events in South Petherton and Glastonbury. Lovely area - noted the South Somerset Cycle route for another time1
