Fiji Gateway Hotel

All of the staff was so friendly and it was so easy to grab the shuttle for the airport. I would definitely stay again! The room was spacious but it seemed everywhere in Fiji the AC doesnt keep things as cool and im accustomed to but it was cool enough to sleep.

The people were lovely and helpful. We had two disappointments. Having to sign up daily for the Internet with new passwords, and PAYING for it is so out of date. No such problem at the Tanoa which had no available rooms for us this time. Also, I was disappointed in the one meal we had there: fish and chips and salad. The salad had no dressing whatsoever. I couldn't finish it. However, the fruit salad with ice cream was delicious.

I thought it was ok. What I was really the most disappointed with was our dinner.

This is a fast hotel very close to the airport. The hotel provides free airport shuttle, which is convenient for travelers to and from the airport. The hotel rooms are spacious and well-equipped. Except for the slightly expensive food and beverages, everything else is good. For travelers who need to stay overnight for a transfer, this hotel is very suitable.

You only truly know much a hotel and it's owners care about you when ask them to address why the body fluids of previous guests are on your bedsheets. Superficial words on a website and a greeting in the lobby are meaningless when you scratch the surface and find issues of basic hygiene from this Raffe Hotel. Poor cleaning in the bathroom was a warning but, an undersheet peppered with yellow stains made me feel sick. Occupying four locations, the stains clearly matched the different groin locations of previous occupants and showed an extreme level of willful avoidance and a lack of care for incoming guests. With the bed stripped back to just the sheets that had been cleaned I experienced the worst nights sleep I have ever had, the gaps around the door give you that 'sleeping in a corridor' experience whilst the staff entrance at you window allows you to hear all the gossip in HD quality at 5am. In response to the unhygienic conditions and noisy staff FGH recognised these complaints and offered me a new room but, then gave it to another guest! They also offered me one meal of my choice but, waited till I had eaten elsewhere before sending me the email at 8:30pm on my last evening. I left the hotel after having to sleep back in the same noisy room and with the cost of one smoothie removed from my bill. I have reached out to the owners of the the hotel who also own Plantation Island Resort & Lomani Island Resort, so far they are happy with the hotels handling of theissue

Place is close by airport , so easy access .

Great location, walking distance to airport or complimentary shuttle available too. Staff very welcoming and friendly.

Excellent customer service as you drive towards reception friendly staff are waiting to be at your service.Nice clean rooms and very lively environment and pools.

Not just an airport hotel. This is a full-service resort, right across the street from Nadi International. Great way to start or end a stay in Fiji. Warm staff with great pool, spa, and breakfast.

Very close to airport, pool area, extremely nice, cafe and dining were very nice, however, the room we booked was more like a motel than a hotel and price was high for such a room. The staff were excellent.

Great place for convenient stay next to airport. Offer the free internet already. Ridiculous that in year 2025 need to ask for a new code after every hour.

The service was very good

We have stayed at the Gateway many times. It’s a great base for us to start our Fiji holiday and catch up with family. Rooms are always immaculate and serviced daily. The staff are friendly,polite and professional. They have great localised knowledge and always helpful. Restaurant offers a great selection on delicious meals for breakfast,lunch and dinner. Light snacks available poolside. Bus stop is right out the front if you want to catch local transport. Airport is just across the road if you need to hire a car, catch the bus to Suva or organise any tours to the islands ect. Would highly recommend Gateway Fiji.
