We had one of the newly renovated rooms and it was beautiful. The staff was so friendly and the hotel was beautiful.

This is a great option for a night or two beside the airport. They are well set up for inconvenient flight times. The large pool is open until 9pm and has a fun waterslide. Breakfast is served from 5.30am. It is a 3 minute walk from arrivals and 5 minute walk to departures - so much faster than waiting for their transfer service. Just walk along the path beside the car park, across the traffic lights and follow the walkway 10 metres to the left of the lights. There is a sign. Keep in mind they are doing construction work during the day Monday - Saturday. Night time was quiet. Comfortable room with good air con. Hot shower but tiny bathroom. You'll be happy staying here in transit unless you have luxury expectations.

Close to the airport

We recently returned to the Gateway Hotel in Fiji and were pleasantly surprised by the upgrades since our last stay in 2023. The newly renovated rooms are fantastic - especially the bathrooms which now feature level-entry showers that are much more convenient and modern. We stayed in a poolside room, which was perfect for an afternoon of relaxing by the pool with easy access back to our room. The king-size bed was super comfy, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the humid weather. There was a bit of noise from construction next door (it looks like they’re expanding the hotel) and some of the beautiful gardens were temporarily fenced off. However this didn’t take away too much from our experience. Overall we really enjoyed our stay and would return to the Gateway as it's super handy to the airport (directly across the road)

Overall good, just need lift, it was a struggle to carry luggage on the stair case.

We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed every day. It was convenient for pick-up and drop off for all the tours we booked. Staff were all amazing and friendly. Can honestly say we do not have a single complaint! Loved the pools.

This is our go-to hotel when we don’t have a connecting flight until next day in Nadi. Usually we are happy with the location and service. The room is spacious and quiet, and the breakfast is good. This time though, we were a bit frustrated with the mixup. They assigned us a room which had still been occupied. After checking in, we opened the door to the room and found that someone was having shower. We don’t know how the mistake happened on their system. The receptionists were apologetic and compensated for the inconvenience. But this experience left me very uneasy, because as a female guest, I certainly wouldn’t like to be in the spot of the gentleman in the room when a stranger suddenly opened the door. I don’t like to leave a negative review, especially it is one of the good hotels in Fiji. But I thought I should share this experience with other travellers as it is a safety concern. I will definitely use the chain lock in my room from now on.

Had a one night stay as had an early flight next morning. Amazing pool, very clean room, excellent water pressure and super comfortable bed. Great service and reasonable prices in the restaurant. Would definitely stay again

Great location just a few hundred metres from the airport free pickup. A good choice before moving on to further parts of Fiji.

I had to overnight in Nadi due to my flight schedules and this hotel was highly recommended by a colleague. It did not disappoint! First was its access to the airport… it is just a simple five minute walk but they also have a shuttle. Everything was top notch! I will certainly put this on my list the next time I must stay in Nadi… only hopefully a little longer!
