Hôtel MARAIS HÔme

Le personnel était très gentil et dévoué. Par contre, la chambre était très petite, nous avions de la difficulté à y circuler et elle était mal insonorisée. Le petit déjeuner comportait très peu de choix et nous l‘avons trouvé très ordinaire avec un manque d’intimité puisque les tables étaient collées les unes sur les autres. Toutefois, le garçon était très sympathique. Bel emplacement à proximité de plusieurs sites d’intérêt.

The front desk keeping your key gave me a piece of mind while I was out during the day.

Very lovely staff. Remmy in the kitchen at breakfast was very sweet and helpful helping us with our transport plans. Great location next to the subway. Rooms a nice size for Paris. Drinks available to buy at the reception, which is good after a long day of walking.

Loved this little hotel in Marais. Staff were excellent and helped us book airport transport at a reasonable rate (much much less than booking ourselves), book restaurants and were just friendly and helpful overall. Room was very small but perfect for one person or a couple who did not require space to spread out. Lots of closet space and efficient bathroom with shower - all very clean. stay itself was quiet - my room was at the front of the hotel and I could hear sirens at some points but nothing out of the ordinary for a hotel in the city. I would definitely stay here again. Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby and within walking distance to major sites (20-15 minutes to Notre Dame down pleasant streets.

As a boutique hotel, it's very nice and cozy. Kind staff and great neighbor. Close to a subway station that connects you to everywhere. The only problem was that, since we stayed 5 nights, we had 4 luggage what was really though to accommodate in a very tiny room.

The staff at this hotel were extremely friendly and helpful! They gave us good advice on everything from where to eat, to good running routes! The breakfast was excellent and the beds were very comfortable! I would suggest improving the workout room and adding more weights.

Good location and a simple but very nice breakfast. Small room, but we expected that in Paris. We would not stay here again though solely because of the hotel key/door policy. They insist you hand in your room key each time you leave the hotel. They make no check of your identity when you come back, so anyone could walk in and ask for your room key and they would hand it over. They also lock the front door of the hotel when the receptionist leaves the desk. We were locked inside the hotel when we wanted to go out, until the receptionist returned.

Everyone was so kind. The breakfast was a wonderful way to start the day. Close to Metro and plenty to walk to near by.

I loved this place, and I am VERY particular about where I stay. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The breakfast is great and has many options. My room was great—perfect for one person (I had just the basic room) with a big, comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and very helpful. AND there’s an elevator AND air conditioning—not always guaranteed in the EU. I would absolutely stay here again!

The junior suite was perfect for us, it was big enough and the view from the balcony was amazing, very Parisian. The AC was much needed during the heatwave! The location was also convenient and there are so many nice cafés, restaurants and shops in the area.

Terrific location near two easy to use metros. All requests were honored. Air conditioning goes down to 16°c, perfect for those Parisian heat waves. Next to a lot of cafes and really anything you could want. 25 min walk to the seine river and the louvre/Notre dame/ille citi St. Louis etc

A lovely, inviting small hotel next to the vibrant République square. 3 of 4 desk members were warm and friendly and all 4 were helpful. Free water, coffee, and pastries always available and beer, other snacks available at the desk Enjoyed the breakfast downstairs very much Rooms are very small, but clean and pretty. Our room smelled musty at times. We would stay here again!

The daily breakfast was excellent at self serve with lots of options. Air Conditioning was cold, which helped with Paris being so hot. Staff was always pleasant and helpful. Room was on the small side, which was normal for older hotels in Paris.

Our family stayed for six nights in Suite 604 on the sixth floor, paying approximately AUD 800 per night. Having visited Paris several times and stayed in many hotels, I can honestly say this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The problems started on arrival and continued throughout our stay. Housekeeping was unacceptable. Bed linens were often not changed, basic amenities such as soap, shampoo and toilet paper regularly ran out, and I had to repeatedly call reception to have them replaced. Our bathroom was also not properly cleaned despite two complaints. Breakfast was a complete disappointment. On the first morning there was no baguette. On our final morning there was no baguette, croissants, eggs, orange juice or milk. My husband and daughter went at 7:30 a.m. and many items were already gone. When I arrived at 9:00 a.m., there was virtually nothing left. The coffee machine was broken, the staff member could not speak English or fix it, there was no clean cutlery, and every table was dirty. The lobby restroom was frequently filthy and once had no toilet paper. The elevator broke down several times, forcing us to use the stairs to the sixth floor, and reception was often unattended. I have photographs documenting all these issues. For a hotel charging around AUD 800 per night, the cleanliness, maintenance and service were completely unacceptable. I cannot recommend this hotel.

Great hotel staff, someone is always there. Very clean room, hotel has 2 elevators (euro style) and our room had great a/c to battle the heatwave between exploring. Very close to a convenient metro stations (~5 min walk).
