I stumbled upon this place by accident—and what a lucky find! Our whole family truly enjoyed it. Two warm-water swimming pools, spacious rooms, a playground with a large slide, breakfast that, although lacking in variety, tasted delicious, and food and drink prices at the restaurant were quite affordable. The location is also close to the city center. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Fabulous location. The hotel is located down a mainly pedestrian side street in the city centre and has a dining area in the courtyard which is shaded by coconut trees. In general, it is a peaceful hotel considering its location and popularity with families. The staff are friendly and polite. Great place for a city base when visiting Jogja.

I was looking for a hotel with two large beds and one small bed for my husband and children. This hotel offers these beds at an affordable price. The room is also adequately sized—not huge, but not cramped either. It may be an older hotel, but the service and cleanliness made me feel comfortable, at home, and satisfied with my stay. Parking is also ample. The location is across from Amplas, with numerous laundromats and Indomaret within walking distance.

The hotel staff was very friendly, even arriving in the middle of the night, they were welcomed. The room was okay, the facilities were quite complete, the price was pocket-friendly, the location was strategic, close to Tugu Station, only 500 meters, and there were motorbike rentals at the hotel. I was quite satisfied with my stay here, maybe I'll stay here again if I go to Jogja again.

My first time staying in Alena Coliving & I enjoyed every bit of it. The ambiance & room comfort exceeded my expectations of a two-star hotel, it was clean, staff were super polite & helpful, and the colors between each furniture suits well.
As for the location, it’s really near to the city centre, especially when you want to travel around Jalan Kaliurang & UGM! The parking space was quite big as well, fitting up to 5-7 cars max, but I guess it wasn’t a big deal for me when traveling during the low season.
I recommend this hotel, especially if you are traveling on budget!

The Alana Hotel & Conference Center Malioboro Yogyakarta by ASTON
Spent time here with my family and might be going back here if travelling again to Yogyakarta. The price is good, the location is the best near the city centre, breakfast is also good. You can taste "Jamu" special beverages from Indonesia.
