DoubleTree by Hilton Milan

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the DoubleTree Hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. Although our visit was brief, Sara provided several excellent recommendations that helped us make the most of our time in Milan. Based on her suggestions, we visited Chinatown and explored the beautiful Parco Sempione, where we rented bikes and scooters to tour the park before enjoying some delicious gelato. It was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon and experience a different side of the city. The hotel was comfortable, welcoming, and conveniently located. We had a great stay and only wish we had more time to explore Milan. We would happily stay here again on a future visit.

Clean and helpful staff

The staff were great and helpful but the location was very inconvenient. The area did not seem too good either for the price we paid

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. The room was clean and has all the amenities that we needed. The staff at the front desk were helpful in booking our daily taxi needs. We enjoyed our dinner and the ambiance at Meet Me restaurant.

It's a little dated. Bedroom was comfortable and a decent size. Gym was really hot, but had the equipment you needed. Breakfast had good GF options.

the bathroom could be better kept (toilet was yellowing, the shower drain looked dirty), the smell of the toilettes was not pleasant or unisex (very strong manly smell which wasnt even pleasant).

Nice place. A bit far from the e city center. But once you know how to get around the city by tram you can survive. Uber to city center cost 100 euro so that was too much ! Service in the hotel is, as always in the Hilton, nice.

The staff at the reception counter are excellent and very professional. The rooms are clean and warm. We received a cookie gift at check-in, and umbrellas are available to borrow when it rains. The staff are always smiling and made me feel very welcome.

Bad service. No hot air during winter, insist to stay room during 3 nights with no change room.

Here’s my honest review: The free shuttle drivers were the highlight of our stay — they were extremely friendly, kind, and genuinely helpful. The hotel itself looks like a standard, typical hotel and meets basic expectations in terms of appearance. That said, the location is quite far from any train station, and although a free shuttle service is provided, we were not clearly informed about where to wait for pickup, which made the arrival experience confusing. Our interaction with the concierge staff was less positive; while they tried to appear friendly, the service felt somewhat forced and not very welcoming, which made us uncomfortable. The room air-conditioning did not function properly and kept turning off automatically when it did not detect movement in the room. The bed consisted of two single beds pushed together, which affected comfort. We were also cautious about using the tap water, as we noticed sediment and observed many locals purchasing bottled water instead. Additionally, the kettle and hairdryer appeared worn out and not very clean, suggesting they may not have been well maintained. We had higher expectations as DoubleTree is a well-known Hilton brand, but unfortunately the overall experience was not very pleasant. We would likely not choose to stay here again, if not for the convenience of attending the Inter Milan vs Liverpool match.

Staff helpful. Location ok but not many places to eat locally. Only issue was shower - no water if toilet had been flushed and facet to change from rain shower to hand shower to bath was broken.

Room and staff. A leakage from the toilet water tank kept us awake all the night.

Clean and spacious room

The room was clean. The shower was very good, which was nice. The food was also excellent.

The hotel was very nice except watch out for a crazy girl called Yvonne who was a server in the restaurant for the breakfast who screamed at me and my sister because the bread we put in the toaster got stuck and literally swerved at us and I got the anxiety attack 😟😟
