Lovely hotel

Here’s my honest review: The free shuttle drivers were the highlight of our stay — they were extremely friendly, kind, and genuinely helpful. The hotel itself looks like a standard, typical hotel and meets basic expectations in terms of appearance. That said, the location is quite far from any train station, and although a free shuttle service is provided, we were not clearly informed about where to wait for pickup, which made the arrival experience confusing. Our interaction with the concierge staff was less positive; while they tried to appear friendly, the service felt somewhat forced and not very welcoming, which made us uncomfortable. The room air-conditioning did not function properly and kept turning off automatically when it did not detect movement in the room. The bed consisted of two single beds pushed together, which affected comfort. We were also cautious about using the tap water, as we noticed sediment and observed many locals purchasing bottled water instead. Additionally, the kettle and hairdryer appeared worn out and not very clean, suggesting they may not have been well maintained. We had higher expectations as DoubleTree is a well-known Hilton brand, but unfortunately the overall experience was not very pleasant. We would likely not choose to stay here again, if not for the convenience of attending the Inter Milan vs Liverpool match.

Staff helpful. Location ok but not many places to eat locally. Only issue was shower - no water if toilet had been flushed and facet to change from rain shower to hand shower to bath was broken.

Room and staff. A leakage from the toilet water tank kept us awake all the night.

Clean and spacious room

The room was clean. The shower was very good, which was nice. The food was also excellent.

The hotel was very nice except watch out for a crazy girl called Yvonne who was a server in the restaurant for the breakfast who screamed at me and my sister because the bread we put in the toaster got stuck and literally swerved at us and I got the anxiety attack 😟😟

The bed is comfortable

Very nice hotel, modern, clean and nice staff. Breakfast was great and restaurant area is really nice. Quiet area but easy to get around.

If you’re using public transport to travel to hotel then it’s difficult as it’s out the way

Too far from interesting places and train stations

Great customer service. The staff arranged our taxi to take us to the airport. They called our room to make sure we were up. Anything that we needed was taken to our room. Very clean and comfortable room.

The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows were much too soft. The breakfast buffet was pretty good; however, powdered eggs don’t cut the mustard. They do have pineapple and apples as well as a bunch of desserts.

Taxis were available within 5 minutes of the call. They were affordable, as the hotel is close to sites. The area is not walkable for tourist sightseeing. Staff were friendly and quite helpful.
