It was a very nice day, we loved the convenient location. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the housekeeping staff in the main area never smiled.

We stayed in the family suite which was spacious and clean. We had a rooftop view of the Duomo and our own hot tub and terrace. Breakfast was fabulous and hearty, exactly what we needed for sightseeing all day. I highly recommend staying at Hotel Orcagna and would stay there again!

Staff very good and Margherita was excellent.
Breakfast was very good.
Only one issue and that is in our room we could hear toilets of other rooms. They need to sound proof some of the pipes that flow through the rooms.
This is a very good neighborhood especially since Florence is so busy it's a good place to stay

I have been to a lot of hotels but I have never seen customer service as the one provided by Julia! She is the hotel’s greatest asset. Attentive to our needs, proactive, and genuine. The room is modern and I had a good night’s sleep. There is a family owned restaurant/pizzeria nearby, Le Staglione. You should not miss it if you are in for authentic Italian food. I will definitely recommend and I will be back if I am in the Florence area again.

The hotel is very nice, very well located, within walking distance to the Duomo (20 min walk), the staff was welcoming and helpful.
The room is very modern and nice, no complaints, and the breakfast was great as well.
Do know that the front desk only operates from 8am to 8pm si if you anything between that time you have to go across the street to Hotel Jane (same owners) and they will help you. I had to do this because we left very early and there was no one to settle the bill with ..
The only NEGATIVE thing was that they need some sort of bulletin board or something to letave guests notes because we found out the wrong way the TAXI service was on strike so we lost our flight and ended up getting to airport after 6am (plane left at 6.25), ended up buying a new flight for all my family upwards of a 1000 euro...

What a cute hotel just outside of the Florence city center. The staff is personable and so attentive. They genuinely want to help you have a wonderful stay. We booked the suite with the private hot tub. Our teenagers loved it. It was so special to be relaxing while looking out at the dome in the distance. Also, the breakfast was amazing. It really fueled our days there. The breakfast waitress is super friendly and helpful. We had to leave really early the day we checked out and they even offered to put some items in a bag for us to have in our fridge for the morning. Highly recommend! One night we were coming back and there was a block party on the street near the hotel. So fun with all of the locals and love music! We never would have experienced that if we were staying in the city center. Walk to the dome is about 25 minutes.

This hotel is east of the center, behind Santa Croce, it’s outside the old walls so parking is much easier and no risk of accidentally entering a ZTL. Less crowded area, not over run by tourists as hotels in the center. Walkable 15 minutes to Duomo.

We had a big room with a rooftop balcony. The view was amazing and you could see the Duomo. Rooms were spacious, comfortable beds. But the bathroom and shower situation for a family of five with grown children was extremely awkward. All doors were clear glass. We had to improvise and cover them with towels. It was a bit ridiculous.

The hotel was in a safe and pleasant area. Walking distance to the Duomo, super market, restaurant. It’s hidden so harder for taxi to arrive. There were many mosquitos in the area causing us to get bites throughout the night. continental Breakfast was good.
