Top location. Excellent breakfast. Very professional staffs. We had concerns about the music in the plaza but decided to take chances since a few reviewers mentioned the late night music. Though our room face plaza, the music there hasn’t bothered our sleeping. We would definitely stay there if we return to Florence in the future.

I don’t recommend this hotel, it’s really smelly room and everything is old, uncomfortable compare to price. I wanted to change the hotel but can’t be helped. Please choose another better hotel.

This was my favorite hotel during our Italian spring vacation. Hotel Pendini is very central to tourist spots, that we return often to our room throughout the day, in between our activities. Note that in Italy, toilette is difficult to access unless you dine-in. Having a hotel nearby to Sta. Maria del Fiore cathedral or Uffizi Gallery is a good break from the crowd. We took afternoon naps and went out rejuvenated. Great idea if you're jet lag. The daily breakfast is amazing and a great start for an Italian vacation. The staff are wonderful and everyone is so friendly.

This hotel is fabulous! We had a deluxe room and it was HUGE! The breakfast is delicious with a good variety. The bed was comfortable and the shower was wonderful. We had a lovely view of the Piazza Repubblica. The location is excellent within walking distance for everything. The staff were very nice. Now, unfortunately there are always somethings that aren't great. This hotel is next door to a Hard Rock Cafe, as nice as this sounds, the Hard Rock plays loud music until around 1-2am every night. It was loud and made it difficult to sleep. The other con is there is no air conditioning in March. We had to leave the window open all day to keep the room cool so we could sleep comfortably at night. I would have left the window open at night, but I couldn't do that due to the very loud music. All in all, I would stay here again.
