We genuinely enjoyed our stay! The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and courteous throughout our visit. The rooms are on the smaller side, but honestly, when you’re exploring Japan all day, you barely spend any time in them. The location was perfect, with multiple transit stations just a short walk away, making it easy to get around Tokyo. There were also plenty of great restaurants and convenience stores nearby. We would definitely stay here again!

We rebooked and got a non-smoking room which we were very pleased about. It was a very good sized room compared to the first hotel we stayed at in Shinjuku. It is centrally located. Restaurants are everywhere while 7-eleven, other markets and shops are so close, not to mention the Ginza station. The staff were helpful and friendly. The air conditioning worked great. We truly enjoyed this hotel and all that it offered. The elevators could use some remodeling and cleaning, but it was the only insignificant thing we noticed. We will definitely consider returning.

King bed + sofa bed for my wife, me and our son. Spa is only for men. Staff was friendly. They lent us umbrella when it rained. Our room was tiny but bed/pillows/duvet was confortable. The paper or paint in the ceiling had a long crack which makes it look bad. Rooms were quiet and clean. Trash can was also tiny. AC is quiet and good. Overall it's a good hotel for sleeping. Convenient location very close to metro/underground and plenty of restaurants and little stores.

The information about the onsen is misleading. The onsen is for men only, not for women. We were placed in a secondary building that had very few amenities. If you want to use the onsen, use washing machine or go for lobby coffee you have to cross the street, which is quite inconvenient since it's located on the main entertainment street in the historic Akasaka district. There was no coffee provided in the room, and overall the hotel feels outdated. On the positive side, the room was cleaned every day, and complimentary bottled water was replenished daily. All the usual toiletries were provided. The hotel also has karaoke, darts, and a small football game for kids, which was a nice touch during the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The staff were generally friendly and helpful. The location is excellent—much better than Shinjuku or Shibuya if your goal is to explore different parts of Tokyo, thanks to its central location and excellent transportation connections.

Unfortunately, our room was not clean, there was glass on the floor upon arrival, after advising the cleaners of this they vacuumed but glass still remained on the carpet. We stayed on level 3 which seems to be the cleaners hub, always lots of bags, cleaning equipment and staff in the hallway. The female receptionist was abrupt and not as helpful as the male staff. Location is great but I would not recommend this hotel.

Very satisfied with our no-smoking room. Not so much with the smoking one which we settled for because it was the only one available. Luckily, we were able to get the no-smoking room when we needed to extend our stay. The staff are friendly and helpful.

My stay at Centurion Hotel Grand Akasaka was great! All of the staff were very friendly from check-in to check-out. The room was small, but to be expected in Tokyo. It was also very clean, particularly the bathroom, which was immaculately clean. They offer late check out for a minimal, and in my opinion a fair fee. I loved the area of Akasaka. It is not as busy and crowded as some of the main tourist areas in Tokyo, yet is still lively and has a much more local feel. There are a plethora of restaurants around the area and it was an overall nice area to walk around in and just hang out. There is a 7-Eleven almost directly across the street which was great for a quick bite in the morning or late night snacks. Also, the metro station is just a quick and easy 3 minute walk away, which made it easy to get to and from the airport and other locations within the city. Overall, my stay here was wonderful, and I would happy return to this hotel in the future!

It’s an old hotel, rooms where big for Tokyo, and amazingly located the lobby always had a strange smell but other than that it was great, plenty of restaurants, karaoke and Izakaya in the neighborhood will be staying there again

The staff in the lobby was excellent. The cleaning staff needs to improve. The location was great. It is an older building so I expected it to not be perfect.

Had a great experience with the staff! Everyone was very friendly and kind! Our only issue was the AC, which didn’t work until our last days there but the staff was unaware of this because we assumed they didn’t have a good AC system and didn’t complain. As it was our first time in Japan we thought it was normal for it to be humid in the room! Once they became aware of the issue they fixed it immediately! The cleaning staff were also very attentive of our needs!

Train station, many restaurants, convenience stores (e.g. 7-11), all within a few minutes easy walk. Pedestrian-friendly streets. Secure Wi-Fi with room-specific SSID. Good air conditioning, though I didn't see the control for it at first. Operable window for fresh air if you like. Quiet room (with window closed).
