Convenient location

The room and the hotel was spotless and had a refined Muji feel. The service was amazing. They provided only the best amenities. I would definitely stay here again next time I’m at Kamakura!

Did not have the breakfast option. The weather was cool and no need for AC Our initial room was very small and no space for a suitcase. Upgraded to a larger room

The location was maybe 3 or 4 minutes from the station, Near a 7-11 and a Lawson Station. A wonderful stay in Kamakura. The staff were extremely helpful in getting us a guide for the city and deliverying luggage to the airport. It's on a main drag that leads to the beach or up to the major city shrine. The room was very efficient and comfortable, the hot water plentiful for the bath! Downstairs there was a very nice restaurant that had a wonderful buffet breakfast. Totally recommend!

best location almost right across from the train station. this property seems fairly new, everything is in excellent condition. Muji restaurant down stairs is convenient for breakfast. Staffs are friendly and efficient.

Room is of good size for Japanese hotel. Large shower area. Extremely clean and renovated room. 5 mins from train station and close many important sites

Hotel very close to Kamakura Station and Komachi Street. Front desk staff very helpful, courteous. My room was recently renovated. The bathroom layout well planned. I paid 3000 yen for buffet breakfast but limited choices. Muji store next to Muji Cafe downstairs of hotel.

Outstanding friendliness and responsiveness of all the hotel and restaurant staff. Modern yet peaceful and convenient to restaurants and shopping in Kamakura and nearby train stations in Kanagawa.

Arrived in the city early in the day so the front desk offered to store my bags. When I did check in, my bags were already in the room. The hotel is on the east side of Kamakura Station and close to shrines and temples and shopping. The room was very clean and comfortable. Excellent hotel in Kamakura.

I’ve stayed here three times at this point. A total of about a month between the three trips. This is one of my favorite hotels in the world! The simplicity of it keeps me coming back over and over again.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Metropolitan Kamakura. The location is excellent, within easy walking distance to the train station and just steps from Komachi dori shopping street, Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, and the beach. The staff were friendly, professional, and kind. We arrived earlier than expected and were able to store our luggage before check in, which was incredibly helpful. They made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was beautifully appointed, clean, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out. I especially loved the lighting and the slightly raised separate seating area, which gave the space a cozy, living room feel. It was the perfect place to unwind after a full day of exploring. Having a FamilyMart right next door was extremely convenient, and there was also a large new grocery store across the street with everything you could need. We did not have a chance to try the hotel breakfast this time, but we would love to on our next visit. We will definitely stay here again. It felt like a peaceful retreat, and Kamakura truly is a special place that has left a lasting impression on us. The hotel itself is beautiful, calm, and inviting. We especially loved the decor, the bonsai trees, and the Japanese garden in the central courtyard.

The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The room was clean and modern, and its location is amazing as well. I had the breakfast buffet which was very nice as well. Essentially nothing to complain about!!

Does not get any better than this hotel in Kamakura! Great location, super clean, within 5 mins walk to train station, great breakfast, attentive staff!
