Clean rooms and great staff! The breakfast options were amazing.

Good stay overall, but parking was a big issue. There were not enough parking lots, and finding a space every night was quite challenging.

Awesome experience- wonderful service, staffs were fantastic, their breakfast buffet is one the best covering most cuisine and their buggy service to KLIC mall was so useful for families with kids.

For those travelling long distance my advice is get the hotel to book a taxi for you. When you exit the arrivals the younbglad is there and gives directions as to where to get the taxi. It's an hour from the airport to the hotel. The location is excyans I would strongly advise the Sky Bar. The Petronas Towers are straight in front of you. Hotel staff are exceptional, respectful and nothing is a problem. Well worth the stay....

Very comfortable stay and convenient location. The gym had good facilities with modern equipment and a large space for stretching and freeform. Skybar is delightful. However, it was frustrating that I couldn't order breakfast as I didn't want to partake in the buffet at the full price, but was told I couldn't be seated for a simple coffee and pastry. They need an option in the breakfast space for guests who don't eat like the locals.

An excellent hotel. Superb breakfast. Lovely staff. The gym was well equipped. The location is a real plus - with the Pavilion and the Twin Towers being walkable. Construction workers outside the hotel made the outside dirty.

Excellent hotel, location, staff and breakfast

Traders Hotel Kuala Lumpur was one of the most overrated hotel stays I’ve had in 26 years working in hospitality. The location and room view were excellent, but almost everything else fell short. I prepaid about AUD $250 for 5 days of breakfast and gave up after the first morning. At roughly AUD $50 a day, it was poor value, with very limited international options. Worse, I watched juice being mixed from powder in full view, yet staff tried to suggest it was “freshly squeezed.” When questioned, communication suddenly became difficult. My refund request was acknowledged, but I was told it will take another fortnight to be applied. The food and beverage offering overall was extremely weak. There were constant GrabFood deliveries morning and night, which says a lot for a so-called 5-star hotel. Even the overnight concierge staff had Domino’s delivered during my stay because it was cheaper and seemingly better than the hotel pizza. Service felt cold and indifferent. Our room water was never replaced. Simple requests felt like a burden. The pricing was absurd: around AUD $14 for a small Heineken and AUD $28 for a half pint in the “SkyBar.” The SkyBar itself was badly misrepresented — more like a humid indoor pool area full of noisy children than a luxury rooftop bar. This hotel trades on brand, view and location, but in my experience it does not deliver genuine hospitality.

It was an awesome staying. The staff (Ms. Samanda) was super friendly.

We visited 13 years ago and found it incredible then. This time around it felt tired, the pool and bar didn’t seem like it had been touched in that time and the room was smaller than we remember. We loved KL and the location was great but we probably won’t return.
