Beautiful property in the heart of Bergen, near the fish market in the center of Old Town. Lovely restaurants and high ceilings in our room, this was our first stop in Europe. Breakfast was amazing. Beautiful!

Absolutely loved this hotel and ended up here by chance. The interior design is lovely, hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is outstanding, and I personally love the squishy down pillows and comforters. I like to workout and the gym is small but sufficient to get in some cardio and weights. The drinks at the hotel bar were fantastic and so is the restaurant. You’ll be right in the heart of downtown Bergen which was so great for walking around the city. I stayed in the smallest room choice (which was indeed small), however I was here alone and didn’t mind it. After all, I’m not here to sit inside my room. Highly, highly recommend this place if you can’t decide on a hotel. I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

Overpriced and overrated. Great location and lovely breakfast in a beautiful room however staff were not friendly or accommodating and room was nothing special. I was initially given a room that hadn’t been cleaned and was unmade from previous guests! Then a room key that didn’t work. I was then told because of the inconvenience I could upgrade…. If I paid for it!!! Save yourself the disappointment and book to stay elsewhere.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of city center. If you’ve packed heavy (our trip was 30 days and included a stay in the artic so we had several large, heavy bags) beware there are steps going in. One suite option (the best one), required additional steps as well, so we settled on the remaining Jr Suite. Very, very dark (windows only halfway up) and lighting is so very poor. Spacious rooms (suite included living room and separate bedroom). Very uncomfortable chaise & chair; inadequate storage for longer stays. On the plus side, roomy bathroom, bed comfortable enough. Make sure your electronics are dual voltage. Breakfast buffet is wonderful, gorgeous restaurant.
