This hotel is beautiful, elegant, in the most perfect location, the staff is helpful, friendly and as elegant as the hotel itself. The restaurants located in the hotel were delicious, the staff friendly and a special shout-out to the bartenders who were kind, fun and made wonderful drinks

Beautiful hotel in a perfect location...The room as large and very nice, the hotel is beautiful, location could not have been better...just steps from the fish market and shopping in the harbor...oh and do not miss the breakfast buffet -it's excellent!

Great location, nice staff and decent quality furnishings. We opted for a loft suite which turned out to be very dark and breakfast felt mediocre for what we were paying (pretty average buffet with no made-to-order options). Good option if you’re not on a budget.

Brilliant staff, great breakfasts, fab location, so much to like BUT we had a loft suite and be warned it had absolutely no view, just two large air conditioning units. Worth checking before you book. Room was a little dated, table with four chairs but no sofa. Odd. Shower brilliant, great bed, might make sense to flag up lack of a view.

The carpets are so stained & worn out everywhere. It looks dingy & dirty. The bathroom is the nicest room in the hotel. The room did not have enough lighting . The price we paid is a lot for a not so nice hotel!The staff were very helpful .The fridge wasn’t working. The hotel is very difficult to navigate. I should have taken a picture to prove what I said. It’s close to everything but not a nice place to stay.

This hotel was one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. Not only was it centrally located for everything we wanted to do in Bergen, the beauty of it was breathtaking. The murals which covered the entire dining room walls were very classic. In addition, the morning buffet was as extensive as one could ever expect. We spent two weeks traveling throughout Scandanavia, and although we stayed in many great hotels, this one was our favorite. A big shoutout to the entire staff, also. They all helped make this an experience we will never forget.
