Lovely, peaceful place in a great location. The street outside can be bustling with people but once one steps into the hotel it is an oasis of peace. Very clean, helpful and personable staff. Breakfast and dinner buffets offered a great variety of tasty choices. Highly recommended. I would stay here again.

A daily, generous dinner and breakfast buffet option available, included in our room rate, was a definite benefit. It was quite wet, windy and chilly during our stay in Bergen. We were quite happy to return to the hotel after a day of touring, and not having to venture out again to get dinner on a soggy evening was lovely. All in all, the staff, location and accommodations were quite good.

Despite an ongoing hospitality Union workers strike at the time, the front desk staff took exceptional care of my wife and me. Upgrading us to the Statsraaden was the highlight of our stay in Bergen. The breakfast was superb, as I’m certain dinners would’ve been as well, if they hadn’t been prevented by the strike.
We genuinely look forward to returning.

The hotel was very crowded. The elevators worked not too well. The staff was very friendly. The room was spacious but a bit old… the bathroom was not renovated a while… the location is very good and so was the breakfast

Handsome classic hotel conveniently located next to airport bus stop, right in the heart of old town near historic sites and an easy walk to Kode, the main museum. Breakfast offers an varied array of options and the complimentary tea time and light supper are a bonus.

The location of this property is excellent. It is steps away from Bryggen and right on the harbor front. The room was very nice and the breakfast and dinners were very good. Finally the staff was five star, very helpful and extremely friendly. We would highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. It was fantastic! The front desk staff was over the top nice and very helpful in getting our luggage to the room (I was on crutches). The lobby was wonderful and nicely decorated. They offered complementary coffee and tea. They also had a very nice complementary breakfast and light dinner for the guests. This was fantastic and it saved us some money.
The room was nice, but the building is a little old. Elevators need to be updated.

This is a nice hotel located on the water and only a block from the main cruise ship terminal. It's you're catching a cruise, this is probably one of the closest hotels available.
The room was nice, bed very comfortable. The water pressure in the shower is outstanding (no water trickle that is often encountered in many European hotels). The breakfast buffet is good with a range of options. They also include dinner which is basic but satisfying.
