Midas Hotel & Casino

our booking was canceled by the Midas hotel lucky we checked about a airport pick up because they didn't let us know, and the reply was sorry but because of a power issue, we are unable to honor this booking and we also waiting for a refund as we paid in advance.

Room was ok and the staff were courteous

Can’t have more then 6 drinks in your room per day and try to scam you 50 pasos per drink after that

Rooms were horrible. Smelly and stains of carpet that looked like blood. Wall paper falling off the wall and aircon vent hole was too big for aircon vent making it feel dirty and unfinished. I don’t do a lot of reviews but this one should be done. Very old and overpriced

The Casino was closed. That’s a bummer For lunch it would have been nice to have more American dishes. Service was ok. Servers were really nice and polite.

Meticulously Clean - only 1 decent “Japanese restaurant” Casino was closed, but overall Id say it’s fairly well Run.

I stayed at Midal Hotel for two nights and found the experience to be decent but with several areas that need attention. The room itself was spacious and comfortable enough for two people working, and overall it fits the “budget-friendly” category. However, I was assigned to a room connected to another unit by a locked adjoining door. This raised a privacy concern; not so much for me, but for the guests on the other side. Since I’m often on calls late at night until early morning, the sound easily traveled. If I could hear them, then they could definitely hear me. The bed was another issue. It’s noticeably worn out, and I woke up with shoulder and hip pain from the uneven surface. The bathroom also needs maintenance; the bathtub was clogged, and I even spotted a small cockroach on the floor. I tend to notice these things quickly, probably because I’ve been hopping across multiple hotels during my month-long stay in the Philippines. On the positive side, the reception area is pleasant. I wasn’t moved to another room, but since my stay was short, I didn’t push for a transfer. Location-wise, it’s near Mall of Asia, but not exactly along the main route. Expect a short walk to the main road to catch public transport, or simply use Grab for convenience. Overall, Midal Hotel works if you’re on a budget and need a spacious room, but I hope they can improve their room maintenance and reconsider assigning guests to adjoining rooms unless requested.

Amazing Staff

1st time got a shock that you can bring alcohol to the hotel. They call a few times to check if we are consuming alcohol. No shops nearby and they check whatever u purchase. Not stepping back into this hotel ever again

Great value. Beautiful lobby and charming areas. Wonderful service. A few streets down from Mall of Asia.

To noise at night with traffic in the area

A little bit costly for the room which we stayed or put in.
