Excellent apartment to spend 3 days in beautiful Edinburgh. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the cafe at the front did a yummy chai latte. Huge choice of eating options in waling distance. Was an easy walk from the train station and other sites, or the public bus was only a street away. Wish I could have stayed longer

Home away from home! Loved the area- within walking distance to everything we wanted to do, and easy access to bus and tram if needed. No need to pay a fortune for transfers to/from the airport with the bus stop a block away. Close to a grocery store and had everything we needed in our little suite to cook our own meals. Loved that we could even do our own laundry during our stay. Cute, cozy, super clean, and sooo comfortable. Definitely recommend it!

Loved it had kitchenette so we had breakfast and nice wine and cheese in the evenings when we were not out.
Location is great it was quiet, felt very safe, lots of dining options around as well as nice shops.

I booked Eden Locke for a weekend in Edinburgh to see Moulin Rouge with a friend. We wanted to treat ourselves as we both have 2 year olds so I feel like we found the diamond in the rough with this hotel, it is so understated from the outside. The aesthetic at reception/bar area is very relaxing and cool. The rooms were amazing, I always love when you walk in and there is a scent, its fresh and inviting. There was plenty of storage space for clothing and everything you could need in the kitchen area. We loved our stay and can't wait to return.

The cafe on the property and the staff were probably the best part of the stay. The room itself was poorly laid out, the huge wall in front of the bed was a strange choice- not being able to see the tv from the bed was disappointing, and the way the wall was there was no way for air to flow around to where the bed was with the windows open so it was so hot to sleep. The bed was also hard as a rock and made so much noise and creaked when anyone moved or tried to get out of the bed. The light switches were in weird places, and the bathroom didn’t have any shelving really or a place to plug in the hair dryer. We did appreciate the kitchen but everything was crammed so close you couldn’t even open the garbage can cupboard without bashing into the table. Basically great location, great people but for the price we paid were very uncomfortable in the room.

The entrance appears to be a popular gathering area and very busy during the day but the noise does not filter up to the rooms. I have bee n ther twice now and recommend it. And will return again. Thank you

Nice place but not worth the money. Way way too hot. Bed was too soft. Sofa was incredibly uncomfortable. Unusable kitchenette. Bathroom was ok. I wouldn’t stay again.

Our stay was wonderful! Staff was very accommodating and check-in was so easy. We stayed for a short time but we could've easily stayed there a long time with the affordable nightly rates and the well-equipped studios. Would definitely recommend.

We loved having a refrigerator, microwave, and dishes. The bed was comfortable and the fan was a great addition. There were so many dining options nearby, and just about anything you wanted to do was within walking distance. The staff was very helpful with any questions we had and also were available 24 hours which was great when we checked out around 3 AM to make our flight home. We loved Scotland!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Eden Locke. We had a studio room, decor and quality of finishes are great. Bed was comfy and had lovely pillows. Very clean and the staff were really nice and friendly too. We will be back!
