Loved our stay. A beautiful property, with all the amenities you need. The washer/dryer was the best for us since we were on a long trip. The area was quieter than staying in Old Town but still had tons of restaurants and shops.

Eden Locke exceeded expectations! It was in a good location for us, away from the summer crowds but in walking distance of most activities on the Royal Mile. There were good restaurants on that main street. . The room/studio was clean and comfortable. I appreciated the extra touches like providing an umbrella, which was used. I would return to Eden Locke again!

El hotel es bueno y limpio, pero terrible comunicación. Si eres de los que olvida cosas en hoteles aquí dalas por perdidas. El 13 de agosto hice check out a la 1pm y dejé mis maletas en resguardo con ellos, esa noche dormí en otro hotel frente al aeropuerto y por la mañana al querer utilizar mis artículos personales no los llevaba conmigo (3 cosmetiqueras y 1 ziploc de skincare) me comuniqué vía whatsapp y cero me dieron solución al día de hoy.
No recuerdo si dejé mis pertenencias en el hotel o las sacaron de una totebag blanca mientras me estaban cuidando el equipaje. Pero si las hubiera dejado, me hubieran reportado a las 6pm que regrese por mi equipaje, solo “desaparecieron”

We encountered many issues with our reservation - from the property advertising that they have AirCon, but it only being in certain rooms, from being misled about room availability time, to a loud group across the hall, and finally no staff available for over 30 minutes when we needed to pickup our luggage from storage, this was an incredibly disappointing experience for a 4 star hotel. The hotel was clean and in a great location, but I would not recommend a stay in Eden Locke. The staff did very little to rectify the issues we had, also, both during the stay and after it. To be avoided.

Loved this hotel. It's very walkable and very close to major transit, and the old town is less than a 10 min walk away. The coffee shop downstairs is a bonus.

Beautiful property with a great cafe. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and fit with everything you could possibly need from laundry, dishwashers, cooking utensils, and much more. The pull out couch was bigger than expected and surprisingly comfortable compared to what I have seen in other hotels. The hotel is in a great location with many restaurants, shops, and grocers within a short walk and we had no issue getting to all the major tourism attractions on foot within 20 minutes! I’d happily stay here again if coming back Edinburgh.

Nice hotel that offers the amenities of an airbnb. Staff was very friendly. Good location, with a lot of restaurant options right outside the hotel and we were able to walk pretty much anywhere in 15 minutes. We were in a studio, which fit our needs perfectly, which still offers a kitchenette and washer/dryer. The windows do not open up very much, so its hard to get good airflow. They do put a floor fan in the room, but we were still a little on the warm side in early June. We would definitely return.

This is a convenient place to stay when visiting Edinburgh. It is walking distance to all the sights in the Old Town. The rooms are on the smaller side, but the 1-bedroom suite has a couch where you can open clamshell suitcases. They have a good selection of pastries and other breakfast options, and make coffee drinks as well. They also have a small bar that closes at 9PM.
