The hotel is a masterclass in shabby chic - old world charm that’s perhaps a little frayed at the edges but wonderful staff and great service make up for all of that. Oceanside pool with a great poolside bar and restaurant, breakfast on the veranda - you feel like you’ve stepped back in time. Wonderful stay

Ac:n funkade inte riktigt, satte ned den till 16 grader för att kyla ner men det alldrig kallare än 23,5 grader vilket är rent för mycket för oss. En del av personalen i poolbaren verkade lite för mycket intresserade av sin telefon än att servera/serva kunderna, man var väldigt snabbt framme när det kom ett gäng snygga tjejer än när vi 50+ kom och ville beställa. Gillade inte att det var en saltvattenpool, känns lite ofräscht.

The room was clean and comfortable but there was some disturbance from wedding festivities in the central garden The attitude of the staff is mixed, reception were very helpful but in the patio bar rather indifferent- there is a danger of complacency as this is the grand historic hotel that is booked because of what it is. rather than fighting to maintain standards competing with the newer large group hotels nearby

Clean rooms and super friendly staff! Food is good too, although I did not try all the restaurants. Breakfast is elaborate and had good options. The hotel in itself is very old what is charming when well taken care off. but at times the oldest parts of the building could need a better upkeep. All in all - this hotel is great and i had a good stay!
