Perfect stop for one day in Interlaken. Only downfall was no AC which is my own fault for not checking. Slept with windows opened and all was well for us.

Stayed here for three nights when visiting Interlaken and nearby attractions. Hotel is just across the bridge from the Interlaken West station so it was easy to walk with big suitcase. View from the hotel was excellent. The hotel building is old architectural but well maintained. Apparently some remodeling were being done to few sections but there is no inconvenience. Hotel lobby looks nice and staff are great. Room was good size and don’t feel cramped even after keeping two big and two small suitcases. Bathroom is of good size. The shampoo and body wash are provided in small pouches which is minor inconvenience but ok. The breakfast included is nice and have good choices. Couple of fans were provided and used few times as it wasn’t that hot. But it could be a problem if it is really hot weather.
Overall experience is great hotel , great location, close to restaurants and shopping. Loved our stay.

The staff was excellent and the rooms were clean and comfortable! Unfortunately the hotel was undergoing some renovations during our stay which caused some lengthy waits for the only elevator. Overall, the property is a great place to stay and very close to the train station.

Very close to train station. Free train from Interlaken West to Oust which I wish was explained on our arrival.

The hotel is a registered historical building, so the owners are restricted in what they can do. If you want a traditional Swiss hotel, then this is the place for you. The furnishings are in keeping with the traditional style. It is in a convenient place for West station and buses, and for the amenities and shops of Interlaken. I wouldn't hesitate to return.

No AC. We did have a balcony. Had to leave all the windows open. The room was stuffy and the bed uncomfortable. I do like visiting Europe to see the sights. But it feels like I am living in 1950,s America as a kid. No AC, small room, no ice, noise outside, windows open. Wake up Europe its the 21st century.

For the price, terrible hotel. I know everything is costly in Switzerland, but this hotel was way too expensive for what it was. The room smelled like damp mold. No AC. The towels were dirty. The walls and floors looks like they've sustained water damage over the years. There were ants inside the room. No garbage can and the staff didn't pick up the trash either. The best was making so much noise just by changing position... The location is really good, the views are amazing, the staff is really nice and accessible, but the hotel itself is really decrepit. Since everything is pricy, I would recommend you go elsewhere and get some better hotels

Very good location, just steps from Interlaken West Station.
Prices are lower than most of other hotels in the area.
Large bathtub, water pressure was good, temperature was excellently. Buffet breakfast was OK.
Very limited room amenities, no fridge, no kettle, no bottle water, no coffee/tea, no clock, no power outlet near bedside tables.
Garbage can only in bathroom.
Bathroom no counter space, no shelf space, no cloth hook - the only hook had be used for garbages and hairdryer.
Worn-out wallpaper. Poor wifi connectivity. Only 24 in tv.
Perfect for travellers who only want a hot shower, a warm bed and a filling breakfast.

Well located in Interlaken West. Just a block away from train and buses. Beautifully situated between 2 beautiful rivers, downtown and nice restaurants and bars. Staff was very friendly. I would stay again

This hotel is a complete disgrace. It has been abused by a bad remodel after bad remodel, a total disgrace to a once former beautiful hotel. I would not recommend this place at all, please don’t waste your time or money. This was our first stop in Switzerland, and it was a complete let down. The wall paper was peeling off the wall at every seem and it looked like everything there was a bandaid to a previous bandaid problem solve… if only I could add pictures to this.
Don’t expect any amenities, or quite frankly anything at all. The bathroom offers all in one shampoo and body wash in a small cheap sample packet, the towels are raggedy and the trash can is an actually paint bucket or something close to it, no lid.
Surprisingly the mattress isn’t totally uncomfortable but it’s hot as hell if you’re visiting during the summer months. There’s no air conditioning, only small portable fans. This is also a loud location located right next to the train station. I personally could get any sleep.
You can chalk up this review to - we got burned so don’t let it happen to you…
