I had booked a suite with a balcony which was huge and had an amazing view though there was no furniture on the balcony so you really just went out there to look. The room was spotless and the staff were amazing. The bed was very comfortable. The only downside was one night I did have noisy neighbours and there loud voices did carry through. The breakfast was extensive which was great. The hotel is in need a some refurbishment the rooms are dated although comfortable. The hotel is noted for its skybar and restaurants - however they have to be the most expensive bar in Asia. 1500 baht for a cocktail although you do have an amazing view.

Everything was great. Perhaps the biggest oddity was that the price of dinner for 2 at one of the fine restaurants here greatly exceeded the cost of the room. Maybe if they had some sort of deal for guests staying in the hotel?
