Mandarava Resort and Spa

We had a wonderful experience at this resort. Came here to celebrate my 30th birthday with my family. The hotel staff were really friendly and accommodating, always willing to help and offer assistance! The resort itself was amazing, the pools, the rooms were lovely also. Always kept clean and stocked up! Can’t recommend it enough!!

We had a wonderful stay at Mandarava. The service, the food, the scenery were all outstanding. Some notable staff members were Duke, Sam, Lek, Ouuu (from Chomtalay), the young male trainee by the noodles/soup station (also Chomtalay) , Su, Ann, Apple and Tik ( from the spa) all left a really great impression with us. We definitely recommend the breakfast buffet, it has so much variety and was always fresh. Everyone, even the groundskeepers greeted us with a friendly smile, we felt so appreciated and that says a lot about the resort.

One of the most enjoyable hotel stays we've had. The gardens and pools are beautiful. Staff are very friendly. Nicely located in a quiet area but only a 15 drive to Patong.

My partner and I recently stayed at the Mandarava Resort and Spa, and we had an amazing experience. Tucked away near the beach in Karon, this villa-style resort is surrounded by lush greenery and offers breathtaking views of the nearby mountains. The entire atmosphere exudes peace and relaxation like stepping into a tropical sanctuary.The villa-suites are beautifully designed to blend in with the natural surroundings, offering privacy and comfort. One of the highlights of our stay was the massage at the spa which was a wonderful and deeply relaxing experience. The treatments from Apple and Milky were thoughtfully done in a serene and comfortable setting, leaving us feeling completely refreshed and restored. The staff at Mandavara were truly outstanding — so kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch that made the entire stay feel even more special. The food was delicious and fairly priced, and I really appreciated how generous they were with bottled water during our stay— a small but thoughtful gesture that made a big difference in the tropical heat. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with top-notch service and a calming spa experience, Mandarava Resort and Spa is highly recommended!

It was our second time staying at the Mandarava and it was amazing as usual. Accommodation was great, we had a pool access room and wouldn’t go any other way. There are 5 pools and numerous pool bars which we especially took advantage of during happy hour - very fair cocktail prices. The only 2 things I would critique are the TVs and the in room service. The TV’s don’t allow you to connect your phone to it to watch things like Netflix. Especially on the days where it rained or stormed. I wish they had Smart TV’s. The pizza and garlic bread were terrible both times.. barely cooked cheese and a very dry base. Other than that, everything was incredible and I would recommend anybody to stay here!

This is a wonderful hotel. The 5 pools are well maintained and beautiful. The food is very good. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is extremely polite and helpful.

This resort is amazing, lots of pools to choose from and great breakfast selection. Staff were lovely, and couldn't do enough to help. We loved the little buggies that would take you to your room if you couldn't be bothered to walk up the hill.

Our stay at this resort was nothing short of amazing. We were surprised by the friendly staff and the lengths they go to, to accommodate dietary needs and make your stay memorable. The room was clean and as described. The pools were clean and located amongst the most beautiful and tropical oasis. We will definitely be back.

Swimming pools should have signs that say cannot place towels an lounge chair to reserve the seats.

Can’t fault anything about this resort at all. We would stay here again.

Really great place…no real complaints. It’s a bit hilly so a lot of up hill walking but they do have shuttles which are pretty convenient. You can take the shuttle to Karon beach as well HOWEVER last shuttle back is 6 so you can’t really go to Karon for dinner or see the sunset. But that said you could still use Grab to come back. Anyway highly recommended.
