Butterfly Suites

I stayed at this hotel last year and even then the bathroom was a disaster. There was mold everywhere, even on the toilet seat. When we asked for room service, someone came in and sprayed air freshener around the room as if that counted as cleaning. At the end of our stay, they apologized, asked for another chance, promised a discount, and assured us that the hotel would be much cleaner next time. Because of the location close to Taksim Square, we decided to give them another chance this year. That was a big mistake. The floor was so dirty that you did not want to walk on it. The bathroom was again covered in mold. The sink was completely clogged. And on top of that, there were literal cockroaches walking across the floor of the room. This is not an exaggeration, this is exactly what we experienced. We asked for room service multiple times and each time we were given excuses. At one point, I walked to the reception myself with our towels. The room service staff were calmly drinking tea and chatting with each other while our room was in an unacceptable and unhygienic condition. Hygiene clearly has no priority here, and neither does customer service. The promised improvements never happened. In fact, it was worse than last year. If you value a clean room, a functional bathroom, and basic hygiene standards, you should absolutely avoid this hotel.

I have booked this apartment twice, it is highly recommended, because the location is very close to the urban center, the rooms are clean, the staff are also friendly! I recommend this apartment, one of the best places to stay when you are in Istanbul
