Family friendly hotel. The three towers are nicely placed into the bay with a kid friendly beach right at the ground floor. Bac, the front desk manager together with his team were an amazing support during our stay!

I had a great vacation here. Everything was great. The receptionist, bellman at the lobby and housekeeping were all very cooperative and supportive during my stay at the resort. The spa here is extremely wonderful. Minus point: when I bought ice cream at Lan Ha Sky Bar, the staff seemed a bit indifferent.

Additional Charges for Extra Persons in the Room

Infants (under 2 years old): Free for a maximum of 1 infant per room (sharing a bed with parents). If an additional infant under 2 years old is added, the charge will be the same as for children aged 2 to under 6 years old.

Children from 2 to under 6 years old: 200,000 VND/child (includes sharing a bed with parents and 1 breakfast).

Children from 6 to under 12 years old: 400,000 VND/child (includes sharing a bed with parents and 1 breakfast).

Adults (12 years old and above): If sharing an existing bed and 1 breakfast: 800,000 VND/person. If requiring an extra bed or mattress and 1 breakfast: 1,200,000 VND/person (extra bed or mattress will be arranged based on availability at the resort).

Guest’s name changing: The property allows changing the lead guest's name 1 time only per booking. Changing the lead guest's name for the second time will be subject to an additional charge of VND 300,000 per time per room. The latest time for changing the name is 72 hours before check-in.

A deposit must be made at the time of check-in to secure additional service requests incurred at the Hotel and/or other Hotel damages (if any) caused by the Guest during the stay period. The deposit will be refunded to the Guest at the time of check-out if no service is used and/or no damages are incurred to the Hotel. Deposit is made by cash, bank card or credit card with a specific deposit of VND 1,000,000/bedroom unit/night. Flamingo reserves the right to refuse to provide the service if the Customer does not make the deposit with the above provisions.

Compulsory meal: In order for you to have the best culinary experience during your stay, Flamingo would like to inform you that an additional lunch or dinner is required in the room package for bookings that stay on weekends and public holidays, New Year's holidays according to hotel’s regulations will be mandatory

This was a beautiful resort in a very nice location. Unfortunately, two of the pools were closed when we were there for maintenance and the weather wasn’t very nice so we were unable to use the beach facilities. There was only one restaurant open for supper dining options. We had to pay for a shuttle into town or you could walk about 20 minutes. It is a bigger resort and felt a little bit more impersonal than some of the smaller properties we’ve stayed at on our trip to Vietnam. Although the staff were friendly and helpful, you didn’t get as much of a personal touch as you do in some smaller places.

Hotel was clean and spacious. The view from the room was lovely. Breakfast was good. My partner and I were shocked at how busy the hotel was, which we probably should have expected from such a large hotel. In addition to this, the infinity pool was closed for maintenance and the 'charm pool' was only half open, with half of it appearing very green.

Breakfast was amazing! So many options. Everything was excellent. They even upgraded us to a bigger balcony. Staff are very attending to our needs from the moment we arrived til when we left. The room was so spacious and clean. Washroom cleanliness is really important to me and they have made sure it is spotless. Will recommend to my family and friends. Loved our stay!!

Great 2 night stay! We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Came to Cat Ba to do a one day cruise on Lan ha bay and wished we could have extended our stay at the Flamingo. The view from our room was absolutely stunning. Hotel offers a small beach as well as a large outdoor and indoor pool. Great facilities for families with games rooms for all ages. The breakfast buffet was extensive with a wide variety of choices. The lunch/ dinner restaurant is open air facing the beach with some seating on the beach. The food was excellent as well. Would definitely return if in area!

Clean room. Not all pools were accessible at the time of our stay, but indoor pool was lovely, steam room was out of action but sauna was good. Ouside pool was cold but refreshing, a bit early in the season for this one. Restaurants good, so many food options. It took a little time for us to work out the lift and bridge access between the 3 buildings but got there. Beaches were gorgeous and Cat Ba Town easy direct walk or lovely coastal path just slightly longer. Really loved our stay here.

Great view from room, but this hotel charged for every little thing, including water for the room, pool tables in lounge, other games for kids, hotel shuttle to/from town. Need to leave a deposit in order to charge to the room at all. Overcharging for room service. Only one restaurant open at a time. Lights that wouldn't turn off in one room - staff solved the problem by cutting the wire to the light altogether. Not all that many options for hotels on Cat Ba, so this looked good comparatively, but it did not live up to the rating.

Very clean, always cleaned up, free items restocked by cleaning crew. Very friendly staf throughout the building in all areas of service from outside the gates to every part of the hotel facilities. Short 10 minute walk to main area of the city. Amazing beach and views of the sea. nice hiking trail nearby of the coast.

The property at first looks amazing but other than the pool/gym, every has a cost that too on a higher side- so nobody was in the arcade or spa- it was was all deserted - even the rooftop bar. The hotel is quite commercialized much like USA and lacks Viet hospitality or the human touch. No area for bottle refill, the shuttle to town has a cost, and when it is time to checkout, they shove you out at the exact moment the clock struck a 12noon. We lived in Vietnam for 15 days in 5 different cities and hotels but this one even with the amazing location and supposedly exceptional amenities ranks the lowest for me. The breakfast has a good selection but many items aren’t labeled and most staff doesn’t understand English. It was difficult to identify meat and all. It’s better to live in smaller hotel, with warm staff and better vibes.
