ADGE Hotel & Residences

We really loved staying at Adge on Riley St. it’s a great location, with plenty of cafes and transport links nearby. The staff were really helpful and friendly, no problems at all. The room itself was fab! We had a balcony room and I was really big with a huge balcony! Just as described! We definitely stay here again. The coffee shop downstairs was also really good. We didn’t eat in the restaurant but it looked super cool and high class :)

This property is in a convenient location close to Sydney's Central Rail Station, CBD and Circular Quay. There are numerous dining options, plus grocery and convenience stores very close by. The property, itself, is in reasonable shape but could use a bit of a refresh. I booked a room with a balcony, and fortunately, they put me on the 7th floor bc the balcony door did not lock. I discussed this with reception staff, who informed me that it didn't need a lock! Why would I expect that (a question I was asked)? I was offered to move into a room without a balcony, so there was that. Just an fyi that their balcony doors don't lock. The room was clean enough with adequate amenities. Bed was comfortable, and it is in a quiet area. There are 2 restaurants on site not directly associated with the hotel. One serves breakfast and lunch, and the other serves dinner. Both are good enough and convenient.

We arrived earlier and was served by Nim who went above and beyond to help us by finding a room that was ready to go so we didn’t have to wait after our flight. Overall a really enjoyable stay close to everything you would need, comfortable beds, nice shower. I would definitely stay here again

Nim and Zoe went out their way to help us with our transfer to the Cruise terminal (White Bay). They were super kind and pleasant to speak to. We wish them all the very best for the future.

Adge is in a great location, very decently sized and well accommodated rooms. Pretty much everything you need is a few steps outside the door. Walk to train, tram, bus or CBD. Plus the rooms rates are very decent. It did seem the front desk was often a little understaffed, but mainly helpful and friendly. The A/C HVAC system was a little hard to manage, but other than that, decent room amenities and....the space was most welcome! I'd stay again for sure. On a side note, met some people staying at the Ace Hotel, which has great bars and restaurants, but paying quite a bit more for a room like a 'postage stamp'. Just walk down to Wentworth if you want the 'scene'.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed here to attend a concert at the Hordern Pavilion and I will be back again for the next one. This hotel is so cool and funky, and the staff are all super lovely and helpful. Love the vibe!

Kind and pleasant staff who made me feel very welcome. A problem with a heavily leaking shower head was easily resolved with a move to another room.

A few Shower cap in the bathroom would be good and not all the free to air channels were working which was annoying

Easily my favourite hotel in Sydney, I love this place.

A great find in Surry hills. Comfortable bed and pillows. Convenient. Food was great. Staff were helpful. Clean and well maintained. Fun colours. A couple of wine stains in the carpet but otherwise great. I noticed vacuuming occurring with room cleans which was nice. Restaurants downstairs were tasty and cheap. Steep hill from central with bags- try museum station. Great value.

The property was in a convent location for either walking or using public transportation to lots of attractions. The staff was helpful and the rooms clean and well maintained.

This continues to be my favourite place to stay when in Sydney. Clean, comfortable, convenient, quiet and with a great team. I will be back again next month.

The staff, as always, are courteous, engaging and efficient. We had arrived earlier than expected (and well before the suggested check-in time) and while a room was not immediately available it was suggested that if we return within the hour that “we would probably have a room available”! All fell into place, and we were ready to check-in and get on with our socialising in Sydney!
