Mantra Hervey Bay

rooms need a bit of TLC , not complaining ,though , good location

We stayed at the Mantra for two nights. We found our apartment clean, fresh with sufficient amenities and supplies. The kitchen was very well appointed with microwave, oven, every necessary everyday appliance and serving facilities. The lounge and balcony were pleasant and comfortable, and local news was easily accessible. We found reception staff very ordinary in their approach - for instance, my husband has a condition where extra pillows help alleviate his pain, a staff member told us they couldn't supply more than were in the room on arrival. A sad pity! Also, if a family with children - the bathroom is O.K. with bath and shower, and also washing machine and dryer. However, for an older person the bathroom is a potential disaster area. The shower is not a walk-in, but within the confines of the bath which means to use it one has to be able to negotiate getting into the bath before accessing the shower. There were no non-slip shower mats, or grab rail close to the shower, and was once again impossible for my husband. He went for two days without a shower and I (although I have had 2 knee replacements) had to negotiate a 'steeple chase' to get into the shower, and then no shower mat, or shower grab rail to stop a potential fall. I would advise any older person to check this issue if booking with the Mantra. Overall our stay was pleasant. I think staff could have done better, and any upgrades should review shower access and safety for ALL ages of visitors!

Close to restaurants, but not too much not to like could maybe do with a freshen up the room

Hotel in excellent location check-in and out easy staff very friendly excellent views from verandah great pool no spa pool on property just spa bath in some rooms which we had, not many parking stop couldn't get a securitised park after 4.30 had to park in visitors park or on road

Emailed request to not put decorative pillows and cushions as I have huge allergies to dust. Ignored my email and even put my clean towels on the decorative blankets

The apartment was easily accessed, safe, clean & well-appointed with great views of Urangan Boat Harbour, Great Sandy Strait, Big Woody Island & Fraser Island. Parking at the complex was secure. Staff were friendly & helpful. Just fabulous! 10/10

TV remote not working, terrible limited channels available, Wifi not great , light in bathroom not working, no plates, parking close to block limited, no access accept thru carpark gate or reception 😩,

Great Balcony views! Good sized rooms but very little wardrobe space for travelling 1 week or more! Time for upgrading rooms! No in-house dining options

Comfortable stay. Would be good if toothbrush in rooms As I forgot mine

Ive atayed here a few times and in different rooms . The rooms are fine plus location is great for me .. apparently the property is going to go through an overhaul much needed .

Yes, the parking area was secure and easy assessable. Enjoyed the spa bath a lot.

This is a great location with fantastic restaurants and clubs surrounding to make everything easy.

No aircon in bedroom.

This a wonderful place to stay, close to marina & restaurants. The only downside is there was no internet on the tv, no streaming. Seems strange in this day & age. But that’s just a little criticism.

The pool was pretty cold the pool gate was broken you had to walk right around the front it was very dark walking around there in the night no lights at all
