The reviews were all good at a glance, so I decided to try the place out. The tiny entry & reception area puzzled me but Sam on duty provided a warm and informative welcome. The room seemed a bit Spartan at first, mostly because there is no carpeting - the tiled floor was cold on the feet for winter but would be cool in summer. The bathroom was tiny but modern, with L’Occitane care products. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room in a quiet location as requested. Mini bar had all the essentials. The outside location in middle of Darlinghurst is really handy for food & transport - great for wandering. I would definitely stay again, but take some slippers!

It’s a nice little hotel in close proximity to everything. What it lacks in amenities it makes up in location.
They were also super accommodating when my flight plans changed.

Good, basic hotel, close to shops/restaurants. Staff were great and super helpful. Room was clean and perfect for our needs. 15-20min walk to Hyde Park but also close to King's Cross station. Highly recommend Algorithm cafe for breakfast just a 5 min walk away :)

The amenities were spread over three locations blocks apart. My mouldy room with thin walls was in Victoria Street, reception in Darlinghurst Road and parking - which cost me $96.90 the first night and $55 the second night was in Bayswater Road.

I stayed 9 nights which was longer than most guests I think. Sam who works on reception was excellent, he carried my bags to & from my room, organised for my towels & sheets to be changed when I requested & arranged very efficient transport to the airport. The room had all the basic facilities I needed.

the bathroom exhaust fan is extremely NOISY and we can’t use the bathroom comfortably. Report to the front desk and quick response but do nothing.

Staff were excellent, very clean room and linen. A little noisy (but then again, it is the Cross!). The shower recess a little restrictive, but again, a very good price rate for the night’s accommodation.
