A highly recommended hotel for those visiting Salzburg... The hotel is very nice, with complete facilities, coffee & tea, etc. You get a voucher for free public transportation while in Salzburg, and the location is very strategic... Just across from the Salzburg HBF train station and many restaurants and minimarkets nearby. Very satisfied.

I loved staying here. It was super close to the train station, and easy to get to using the bus from the airport. A short walk to Mirabelle Gardens for Sound of Music locations. The room was perfect for me.

Air conditioning was the issue. The rooms were very warm, as it was hot in Salzburg. The air conditioning was not sufficient to cool the room. This made the positives of the hotel not worth the stay The staff was friendly, the breakfast was very good. The rooms were small and poorly appointed.

Great hotel if you want a kind of beach resort vibe in Austria for some reason. Room smelled very strongly of sandal wood. Duvet ironically too small for a hotel named “cocoon.”

Last-minute stay after flight was cancelled - very happy to have found such a comfortable, clean, stylish and quiet hotel just two minutes from Salzburg Station. Very happy with my 6th floor Mountain Cocoon room which was spacious, came with a hanging cocoon chair and was very quiet despite looking out over the station. The breakfast buffet was great with a wide range of healthy offerings and in the middle of a heatwave I was very glad of the in-room air conditioning as well as the free chilled still and sparkling water in reception. I’d happily stay here again!
