We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It was clean, comfortable, and offered excellent value for the money. The facilities were well maintained, and the service met all of our expectations. The reception staff were welcoming, friendly, and always willing to help. A special thank you to Gretta, who was especially kind, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. She made us feel genuinely welcome and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. We truly appreciated the warm hospitality and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

Our king size room on the 7th floor of section A was very quiet and comfortable. The coffee machine was good

We love the location and well kept grounds. We were steps away from the Plains of Abraham and Citadelle. We even walked with our rolling suitcase to Gare Palais, though it was steep with narrow streets it was safe and clean.

The staff did a poor job of cleaning my room. While the bed was made neatly, they left the used coffee cups, food plates, bowls, and used cutlery, lying on the coffee table. They did not replenish the "box" of crockery. Ordinarily I would not think too harshly of this, but the room provides no kitchen facilities whatsoever, so there is no option for the guest to clean these items themselves other than in the bathroom sink, using face towels, hand soap, and bath towels. When I reported this to the front desk, I was advised that room service would take care of it immediately, but they never did. Another problem concerns the in-room Wi-Fi. When you connect to it, instead of supplying a password, you get a pop-up window where you provide your name and room number. With my Mac computer, this pop-up window fails to appear, and so I cannot connect to the wi-fi. This minor issue became an annoyance when I wanted to call the front desk to report the issue I mentioned above. Because the hotel no longer provides in-room telephone handsets, the only way to do this is via an on-line service. But you can't do that if you can't connect to the internet. [NOTE: I have come across this Wi-Fi connection problem in certain hotels before. It is clearly something to do with the router manufacturer, who assumes everyone uses a PC, and has not implemented Mac connections properly.]

The hotel was located in walking distance to most places you needed to go. Staff at front desk were extremely helpful and even the valets were there to help more than just run and get cars. If I ever return to Quebec City I would not hesitate to stay there again.

A beautiful property with all the mod cons including a robot. Very close to the beautiful city centre, historic bits, and shopping. Great eating strip right outside the front door. And over from the park. Perfect. You pay for it, tho!
