If you are wanting a comfortable place near Heathrow, it’s a great option. On site restaurants are decent (breakfast is great). Staff is professional and attentive. I had an unfortunate experience where they woke me up as a mistakenly placed wake-up call.

the carpets in the hallway/ rooms were filthy. I checked into my room which felt like a sauna. atleast they coukld have turned the a/c on before my arrival, since the reservation was made a month prior. poorly managed property.

Hotel Stay Complaint After a five-hour train journey from Manchester, I checked into the Radisson Blu near Heathrow at around 10pm on Monday 22 June, reportedly the hottest day of the year. On entering my fourth-floor room, I found it unbearably hot. The air conditioning was not cooling the room; instead, it was noisy and blowing warm air. I called reception immediately and was told someone would come to help me open a window and provide a fan. As I was due to present at a conference the next day, this was not an acceptable solution. I went to reception to ask for a more suitable alternative. By then it was after 10pm, raining heavily, and the response from the reception manager was that I could have a full refund and “go somewhere else”. This was extremely disappointing. I was also told that the nearby Radisson Red, only a short walk away, was not part of the same group and that my booking could not be transferred. Left with no practical support, I walked to the Radisson Red in the pouring rain and paid an additional £150 for a room. I am seeking compensation for the extra cost and the unacceptable standard of customer service. Having travelled to more than 40 countries, this was among the worst hotel service experiences I have encountered.

The hotel is advertised with shuttle transfer available. When I emailed about this, I didn't get a reply, so did some googling and This meant a system called the 'hotel hopper' stopped at their hotel. Which wasn't like the main photo. I had to ask the bus driver if it was the right hotel. Finding the hotel Hopper was a bit of a challenge. Getting to the location was easy, but then you had to walk all along the 'barriers' to find the stop you needed. Nothing you can see directly from the outset. We ended up getting an Uber from the hotel the next morning because the transfer was going to be really tight and my husband heard reception say that we needed to allow 30 mins for the 10 min drive. The Uber itself was a challenge. But we still got there in time. So.. Shuttle accommodation 'yes'.. Direct transfer 'no'. As it turns out there were multiple hotel hopper buses that stopped at this hotel, and we could've got one 30 mins earlier. Not very plentiful at 4am. We had just traveled from Hong Kong, so after a 14 hour flight + it may have been beneficial to have some prompts from the staff about where to eat and the shuttle / taxi etc. We heard another receptionist say that the restaurant didn't open til 6.30.. So we walked next door to McDonald's.. Not my favorite place in the world., but we ate and in bed by 7pm. The room was comfortable and quiet. Perfect for the layover.
